Schenn is the best d partner rielly has had. They were seamless together and it unlocked rielly offensively. Sometimes I wonder if the fans of this team are even watching the games

Is the Leafs over looking a potential 3rd line center? Maybe it is because there is a different expectation from a center. Can they try Nick Roberston on center with two good wingers (Nylander, Marner)? Just to try. Yes Roberston doesn't have good points. 🤔 Why do I ask to try? Roberston seems to have a very high successful faceoff win percentage (over 66%). Which is more than Tavares. That is necessary to start the play. In one full game with high "On Ice Time" might show if there is potential. It obviously would take a long time to determine if Roberston can stay as a center.

Toronto with this corps, may never get this opportunity again. They need to Ltir Matthews and use his and Jarnkrok cap space and go get a star center and a good right shot dman that can play with Rielly. We have the best goaltending they’ve had in 20 years and the D has been a surprise this year. Time to push the chips in and go for it.

Rielly is an absolute mess defensively. Team Canada doesn't even consider him for the first or even 2nd team. Schenn would be a welcome addition!

Comparing Schenn and Rielly is laughable. Rielly and Schenn are opposite ends of the spectrum. Rielly is a top pair (regardless if you like him or not). Schenn is a bottom pair defenceman.

Idk if ORielly wants to come back Schenn would be good not sure at 2.75m for 2 more years. Centers maybe they get a Kadri,Nelson,Teravainen,Novak,Coleman,Gourde,Laughton,RyanStrome,Wennberg,Chytil,Frost.
