Just got my Daphne Blue from CME. I already have 8 Fender Strats including 3 from the Custom Shop. I had been holding off for many years looking for just the right Daphne Blue Strat from Fender. This was the one!. OMG, I think this just might be the best sounding Strat in my collection. The tones sound very snappy and clear (just what I hear in my head as to how a Strat should sound like for me). I also had just bought a Limited Edition Vintera 70’s Strat with Custom Shop 69 Pickups. I thought THAT guitar was the best sounding in my collection, until this one arrived. If you can get one, do it. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Thank you so much Anderton’s Music and Chicago Music Exchange. I believe they knocked it out of the park with this Limited Edition run. 🙏🏼

Thank you guys for spec’ing this guitar the way you did because it checked all the boxes aside from fretboard that I wanted. I had accepted the fact that I’d have to shell out for a custom shop but when I saw this online I bought it pretty much instantly, only thing I asked was to send me the one with the darkest fretboard they had and they did. The checking and satin like nitro surprised me at how good it looks in person. Thanks again!

I've ordered the vintage white Strat last night. I was looking for something with a classic 60's sound and relic for ages. Some say that pau ferro is ruining the sound, but honestly, I really like the sound of that Strat. So if that's the way this sound was ruined, then I'm totally up for it! It's really hard to find a 60's relic reissue, with modern wiring for less than 2K, even if it's a second hand, so to me £999 for a brand new instrument that tick all the boxes is a bargain. Yes, I know, it's a MIM, but with US 59's pups, who cares! I can't wait! You guys have totally nailed it! So to me, this year, Christmas will start in November and out of sudden 2020 doesn't look so sh&% anymore 😊 This should be your new slogan - "Andertons - we've made 2020 better (unlike everyone else)" 😁

I’ve watched far too many Andertons videos over the years (with much joy), and you generally have quite a thin guitar tone (I’m sure YT comp etc has an impact but other KZbinrs get a better sound). To my ears, the Pete strat tones are BY FAR the best tone you’ve ever printed to KZbin. Even the tele sounds, which I appreciate are harder to get across, make a decent fist of it. Whatever you did for this video, KEEP DOING IT (and I say that as someone who records and mixes music). Keep safe and well.

@@czechplastik yeh I tried out the normal vintera 50s tele today (baso the same guitar just different finish and pickups) and loved it. Unfortunatly the website says the guitar won't be in stock for at least 3 months. Either way, I'm not quite there money wise (about 2 months of wages off with my mighty 14 year old paper round money haha). I'm sure if it suddenly came in stock I could try convince my parents to chip in the extra needed, and I repay once I get the money due to how quickly these guitars seem to sell out, and how much I want this guitar.

@@czechplastik so you reckon they will do another re run of these limited edition guitars?

@@alistairhomewood7344 as long as people keep buying they will probably make some more. There was an almost identical guitar being sold a few years before. Don't be too down if you miss out. The thing with guitars is there will be others in the future and you might like those even more.

@@czechplastik I emailed andertones the other day, and apparently fender told then they're next ESL or whatever the letters were and mean, is 9th April, and I asked specifically about that guitar so I guess that means they will do another re run. And I should have the money by the end of Feb/ some time in March so will be able to pre order as well! Can't wait and thank you for your replies

I’m with you Pete in regards to the trem. If your not a trem player but like a start decking the trem is the way to go. For me it seems that it bends easier and sounds a little nicer. Hey if having a strat with a hardtail/ decked bridge is good enough for Eric Clapton and Robert Cray it’s good enough reason for me
