I’ve used both. I bought 2 of the Brigeo at Ulta, and it was just ok. For the price, and all the glowing reviews, I expected more. I later tried the Shea Moisture and got the results I expected from Briogeo-for a much cheaper price.

At least you tried it and knows you don’t like it, see I have seen it on sale at Ulta and didn’t buy it because of reviews just like the melanin deep conditioner and I finally tried them and was blown away. Yes Shea moisture is a fraction of the cost but it definitely performed. I used it for my last wash day and my hair was so soft.

Rosie, I have been using that Shea Moisture mask for the past 4 years and love it. I also apply it on soaking wet hair. My hair is very defined at the shampoo stage so I can't attribute that to the mask but it leaves my hair soft and my hair is very defined after rinsing it out. I alternate it with a protein mask. Look at your beautiful coils!!!!

My hair is very defined at the shampoo stage too but since deep conditioning my hair is softer and my curls are more defined. I started to notice that my hair was somehow not receiving enough moisture when I started to use Curlsmith Cowash as a prepoo. I find that my hair curled differently when I started using a deep conditioner and my styles lasted longer. Thank you for sharing gems 💎 always in your comments. My sister has a similar hair routine to yours and her hair is beautiful.

Yes people either love it or hate it that’s why I initially didn’t purchase it before when I saw it on sale. I read the reviews and thought it would not work on my hair.

Go curls!! Your hair looks great! I used the Briogeo Superfoods mask for the first time last week after using Olaplex (also for first time). I loved it. It was instantly softening. I also have been using the Briogeo Don't Despair Repair mask weekly for many months and I won't ever be without it. Definitely going to keep using the Superfoods one too. Both are amazing on my hair.

My hair loves briego. The first time I tried the sky practically open up. And the angels sang. That is how much my hair loved it. Now, shea moisture is another matter. My hair hates the Manuka honey.

🤣🤣🤣 it gave you a whole Sermon 😝! The moment the Briogeo touched my hair it didn’t need heat to soften the hair on the other hand the Shea Moisture needed heat to work. If you haven’t tried it with heat try it to see if your experience is different.

@@rosieamelia5955 yes the Shea moisture definitely needs heat to penetrate; all of brigeo conditioners are magic; Im using the rice water mega strength one right now. It’s potent it has my curls popping like crazy definitely only recommended if you heat style. I stretch my hair with a blow dryer often so that’s why I’m using it; also I find my brigeo products at Marshall’s 🤫 😊

@tiffanydaneen I also found quite a bit of their masks at Marshals as well. I feel if you are using your products quickly it’s safe to buy at Marshals but if you are not it may not be a great choice because I heard ( not certain about the information) the products they carry are soon to expire.

My hair hates Shea Moisture products. They are heavy and just sit on my hair. That mask did nothing for me. I have heard awesome things about Briogeo. The BW who owns it used to work in the financial world. Your hair is flourishing! 🥰🤗😘😍💋

It’s very interesting how someone can love something and we try it and it does nothing for our hair, it really helps us to see that there is no one size fits all. What may work for my hair may not work for someone else’s hair. I enjoy Briogeo but again there are mixed reviews . 🤣funny enough my hair was the longest when I used Shea moisture. I have only used the Jamaican black castor oil line and this manuka honey deep conditioner. Thank you my good SIS I am so happy with the improvements I am seeing and focusing on the positive.

Same one Natures little secret leave in if I change I will let you guys know. I am styling with NLS leave in avocado or banana and styling with their Irish moss styling cream or strawberry styling cream.
