In your video you mention the sound is "OK for something this size". I use a AUX lead to connect to the van speakers. It's much better, just need to watch the volume ! Thanks for the discount code.

Good review. We’ve just come back from Scotland. At every campsite, folk forgot to use the volume switch. Almost every caravan, motorhome or tent had a TV or monitor playing films etc. and it became a nuisance. Am going happy campers will begin to use the volume controls 🤓 - or get a good book out.

I use an iPad mini with the Eye TV module which runs on their app. As the iPad screen is quite small Iwas thinking of some thing larger with a DVD player as well. Any thoughts. Great video as always. Thanks . .

August also do a wifi freeview decoder that you can link to your ipad. ideal for cali, only snag is no remote

Doubt it would work in France, where we live & wondered have you tried it in Europe? No TV in our 5.4m Westfalia Jules Verne & thought we would use a laptop with wifi. At home we have a sat dish for UK channels & an internet sub for everything else!

I got a mini projector together with a google chromecast. DVBT is not good anymore in mainland europe, so I watch via Internet

Digital terrestrial television actually launched in the UK on 15 November 1998 and Freeview was well up and running by 2005. That wasn't really my point though. I'm 40 and I don't watch TV like this anymore, it's on demand through my laptop or tablet at or away from home. If you want live UK tv then great, but why would you want to pay extra to watch it on a 9" screen? Wow time flies! I appreciate what you’re saying but there’s also a lot of people who don’t have tablets (like us) or don’t want to give their tablets to their kids (or the other way round maybe 😂). For £80 it’s a very cheap way to watch some entertainment in the evening. Thanks for watching 👍

We are currently looking for a tv to put in our 1977 Airstream Argosy that we are renovating, so we will have to see if this works, we may go a little bit bigger if you have any other recommendations! Great channel, look forward to checking it out more!

Looks a good bit of kit, but there are quite a few people that haven't got inverters in their custom campervans, so would of been nice to be provided with a 12v>9v dc cigarette plug adaptor for when not on hook-up.

Great review guys, it looks about the same size as my I pad 9.7 inch screen, would you put a screen protector on it? We have 2 x TV in our MH both with inbuilt freeview and DVD player, one is a smaller avtex which we can watch from the drop down bed above the lounge, the other is fitted in the rear lounge, and it’s also used for Nintendo switch ! . Great for the clingons aka grandkids lol, once again big 👍x

We don't have a screen protector on ours, we just make sure it's put away in that "bubble wrap" packaging when it's not being used

I think they’re Quest Elite OR from Costco. We bought them a while ago so I’m not 100% sure. But they are super comfortable!

Probably better to just buy a receiver (august has those too) if you have a laptop you travel with, I imagine it would have a bigger screen than this.

Great review, I wanted one so followed the link, added the discount code, but then unwittingly and without warning suddenly found myself signed up for Amazon Prime which I Do NOT WANT, least of all for £7.99 a month. Good review guys, a nice bit of kit. Probably more a question for August but why doesn't it come with a proper 12v lead for your 12v sockets in car/camper etc? Instead you have to waste a lot of your battery power via the inverter converting dc to ac for the tv's power cable to convert it back to dc again??????? Ridiculous. Come on August supply a proper 12v lead too. Great review though and even better to see Bentley again!! Cheers - Dude

Using a small 12v - 9v 'buck converter' found on ebay would be a lot better than running this off an inverter :)

If you're trying to place a product in the campervan ano mh market and If that product runs on 9v dc, you should at least pack a 12v dc to 9v dc adapter as standard. Plus, it's missing vesa support holes so people can place them in the wall. Not for me anyway.

No it’s a 9v TV and you can add a 12v adaptor from Amazon when you purchase the TV
