Great you are showing other another area close to Boracay. Because the area around Boracay is stunning. Panay island is a fascinating island from beaches, to hot springs, hiking through the rainforest and mountains. Also Romblon provence just north of Boracay has white sand beaches but totally not developed.

Yeah I love to explore more of Panay, looks like there's a lot more to see and you wont have all the crowds. I've seen some photos online of Romblon, it looks amazing! So many islands... so little time!

Nice to know there is another one or two postcard-beauty beaches. :) I was in Boracay last Aug (my second time), and I wanted to explore more of Aklan, but it was not possible. Maybe next time. :)

Yeah it's really beautiful, not quiet as beautiful as Boracay's Beaches, but you also don't have all the crowds. Good thing is that it's easy to do as a side trip travelling to Boracay. Offers a totally different vibe to Boracay if you want something more simple and laid back.

I only found it by accident like I said in the video. Just passing by on a day trip on a boat. Took me 2 years to get back but I never forgot about the place

Yeah no carabaos here. Although I might of past a couple in the van from Caticlan to the resort.

@FindingParadise we hope so, but there're still carabao on main panay island provinces, agri works particular of small scale farmers still not 100% mechanized yet!

When I travelled in the provinces of Bohol and Cebu I have regularly seen carabaos in the fields.

Definitely the place to go if you’re looking for a quiet getaway. It sounds weird to say it’s a place to to take a break from Boracay 😂 but White Beach can be overwhelming for some people

Yeah, well after 2 months on Boracay I ready for a change! A couple nights here is just right for me. I don't think I could stay a week here unless I had a really good book to read.

I was there during summer and you can see how dry the place was (brown grass) so I didn't have any issues with mosquitoes. During the wet season I don't know how much a problem they would be.

Wow! Thanks for the find. Beautiful beaches. I like those accommodations; simple and unpretentious. As you quipped, who needs a fancy-schmancy room when you're in such paradise with views galore. Bucket listed...and I have a very long one already that I'll have difficulty deciding which ones to do first when I finally make it there sometime. "Hinugtan" in Binisaya/Cebuano means tightness. The root word is "hugot" which means tight. Perhaps the locals could have referred to it as "Tight Beach" on account of its small size and isolation. You seem to keep complaining about the heat and humidity. That's what the beach and the pool are there for. 😁

Yeah, I liked the laid-back simple charm of the place. Definitely a nice change from Boracay. Would you believe I was too busy filming I didn't get a chance to use the pool plus day 2 just rained all day so I didn't do much then. Before that rain, the humidity was a killer!!

Yeah it's a place you just want to chill at. If that's too mellow for you it would be best to head over to Boracay. For me a couple of nights was enough for me.

Yes Carabao island is a nice chilled place to go if you want something more laid back! I stayed at Lanas Beach Resort which was a nice relaxing place
