I like that you're not swiping through lots of different screens, although I also like having complete freedom to run any app. Price will be a big thing for sure, but Xiaomi does at least have a lot of sales on usually!

@@zDToddy 4 inch, of which 20-25% is lost because of the camera lenses, so... 3 - 3,4 inch actually useable, Samsung's is 3.4 inch and nothing blocking parts of the screen. I'll enjoy my Flip 6. Not that it matters as there is no international version of the Xiaomi and according to Xiaomi reps, they currently have no plans to release one at present.

I’ve just bought mine in Shanghai - not that I was planning on it but I was utterly fed up with my iPhone when I accidentally saw a Xiaomi ad on one of the skyscrapers there - and boy is it spectacular. Not to mention Chinese customer service the like of which I’ve never seen elsewhere: they make you feel like the most vip person on earth. Exceptional, to say the least.

I will buy it when it arrives in Sweden. I have a Xiaomi 11 T Pro still running fast and charging fast. I do also use an iPhone 13 mini due to smaller size, therefore more comfortable in the hand. But the Xiaomi has got a much higher speed.

Phone looks impressive. Kinda a flagship 6.86 inch screen Snapdragon 8 gen 3 Almost 5000 mah battery. Decent cameras with telephoto included. If it will come up at around 800 euros or £800 it will be something to consider. Way better than Samsung I guess

I have seen in all other reviews that they hold the phone so that the camera on the front display is on the right side. I think you are the only one holding it right. It makes sense as most people are right-handed. So you can hold the phone in the right hand and scroll with the thumb.

Initially I wasn't seeing the benefit of these flip smart phones. But now manufacturers making good use of the front screen and the fact the front screen is a usable size means for many activities, you wouldn't even need to open the phone! Keeping it a very useful palm sized form factor. Keen to buy the Xioami in a global version.

FYI, Mi 9 (SD 855), Google services are built-in to Chinese Xiaomi software. It's just missing the Play Store. Sideloading it gives you full access to the Google suite.

Ugh, too much customization. Moto's outer screen is better because it just treats the outer screen as the main screen when it's closed. Understandably can be wonky for some apps that are expecting the usual 18:9 aspect ratio, but it doesn't require a learning curve. And of course there's a pointless hole punch ruining the inner display, just like Samsung and Moto. The cover screen is literally designed for selfies!
