The great thing about the Michigan vs. Alabama game was 95% of this season Alabama team played. Mostly, the upcoming team for Michigan played. I loved Team 146's defense that I saw. I'm also more excited about the new OC and scheme than any new players coming in. I think Marshall better be RB #1 and not make the mistake Ohio Soft made with Judkins and Henderson.

Playing Ohio state the way Michigan did is a fools errand. Here’s why, Ohio state changed its offensive identity. As odd as that sounds to do that so late, they did. They went from heavy zone run to Gap schemes. They went from 50/50 run to pass (run heavy a lot of the time) to pass heavy. They do that to set up the run. And the cherry on top is using gap schemes (not typical for RPO) as an RPO scheme. And it’s working. Ohio state didn’t even look this good when the oline was full strength.

One thing I'd change about bowls is remove the NY6 from the playoffs, I hate that games like the rose bowl are a consolation prize for the national championship. Let the playoffs teams play home games till the natty give someone else a chance to play for NY6

Also Mich could have done the same thing against Texas and Oregon and won? But they didn't. They got boat raced..so it is not mich defensive scheme as that is all they could try..OSU game plan and execution was bad. They obviously fixed that in playoff. Oregon played a lot of cover 2 and even cover 3. (Mich played cover 2 whole time) And we killed Oregon with a scheme that we didn't use against Mich

Good thing there is the ‘second chance’ playoffs this year for OSU and the rest who wouldn’t even be playing to have ANOTHER chance to possibly claim a natty. Gone are the days like last year when a team actually has to win all their games in the regular season and the playoffs to earn the National Champions, like MICHIGAN did. Now we give teams a couple tries, so weak, that’s where you put an asterisk, on every natty here on out.

@ maybe you don’t remember him telling Michigan fans who claimed OSU was cheating to “tell the NCAA”. Now, he said that meaning that he felt the claims that OSU was cheating were fabricated. But when the shoe is on the other foot, he had a complete meltdown. Blaming Ryan Day of all people. At that point, I knew he had blown a gasket and couldn’t handle what he knew was true.
