I believe this part of the language is the most mind-blowing of all so far :) The breaking point was "Wij zouden moeten blijven", for some reason I just started panicking seeing so many verbs in infinitive in one sentence next to each other. Thank you for clear explanation though. There is one question - how to say something like "I could have" or "I should have" both in meaning of perfect tense and unreal conditionals. Though maybe it is a topic for another video or two XD

I just saw a sentence on Duo that was like "Ik wil hem kunnen zien werken", so we could say "We willen hem kunnen zien werken" 😂, which means *We want to be able to see him work*.

How about "I should be able to do that"? Ik zou dat moeten kunnen doen? Or Ik zou dat moeten doen kunnen?

Doen at the end, first your modal verbs.

Thanks for the comment! That's a tricky one, which doesn't translate well. There are two ways to say it: Hij zou het niet kunnen doen. = He wouldn't be capable of doing it now or in the future. Hij kon het niet doen. = He wasn't able to do it, in the past
