When the first guy was playing and they were playing safes back and forth, I thought he had the best chance at beating Shane. The jump/cut on the three ball was phenomenal! But when it comes down to it... Shane is a world champion for a reason. Awesome match and your commentary was spot on Josh. Thanks brother

Many years ago I was in VNEA Championships in Vegas. Mike Massey had a booth set up and you could play him for $20 and got a t-shirt saying "I beat/lost to him". Money was tight and I didn't do it. Always regretted that. Glad these guys tried this and kudos to Shane for this.

I heard a commentator refer to SVB as the greatest pool player America has ever produced. Hard to argue with that, but I’m sure Earl would lol.
@Amateur_Pool10 ай бұрын
Actually, I've heard Earl talk so highly of SVB. He may say he is better.. who knows, lol

Charity Event type thing, Tax write off event. I would have to believe Mike Varney has something to do with these events because he been at a few of these. I not sure if he shoots at these or not, but don't see anyone beating him either if it came down to it at these events. that dude was surely no slouch back in the day!

I never get comments like the one at 5:00 about too much top. That is a rolling ball--it's all the same amount of top.
@Amateur_Pool5 ай бұрын
Notice the ball came off the rail to our left (his right). Center would have came straight up off the rail. Work on getting your stun shot down, then you'll notice the difference.

Pool is a funny game because amateurs can actually win a game or two against a pro. Rarely can they win a match tho….But in this case, they can’t get a game against SVB!
