​@@Steven-u4o It is. Typically if it's an obvious shot, verbally calling it or even pointing it out isn't necessary. Calling is really only required when it's unclear where the player is going to attempt to pocket the ball. At least that's how it's done in the BCA league I play under, which is pretty much the same as WPA rules.
