I can’t believe how cold it has got.
This week we started a new driveway at Mapperley. We’ve dug it all out using our Jcb’s and installed a new subbase ….
We managed to sand screed and lay but the weathers made things tough !!
But you know us , we get it done 👊🏼👊🏼

Yea I've worked in -5 and below lovely weather to work in iv worked on public footpath work all round Birmingham back in 80ts and 90ts the only thing to stop us was the rain creates a right mess you've had a fair share of rain around Nottingham over the winter so far.Tough work lads not many willing to do it now iv been watching you guys alongside your buddy'sD&J

Bugsy not just a van dog, he’s a van security guard dog. All he needs is a hoodie with the word security on it. Oh, maybe a tablet so he won’t miss watching his shows and a bag of crisps. 😁 Great team work on the job. Looking forward to seeing finished job. It’s looking great so far. Stay warm.

Good job done on that fencing and driveway, i can't believe we've got to wait to see the finish 😯 is your dog a staffy? They are quite sensitive dogs , i had a white rescue staffy who looked like a cow as he had black patches. We had him for 14yrs until he became ill and we had to have put to sleep😢, your dog will be missing your mum badly like you all do but unfortunately they can't tell you. Keep plodding, I'm sure she'll be proud of how you're carrying on 🫶👍

I have worked in cold weather before and its horrible. Glad I now get to work inside a warehouse, so get to keep up the exercise but get to stay warm and dry!

Yet we rarely hit cable 😂👊🏼🤷🏻‍♂️ years of practise mate … we know what to look for … you can tell there wear about from road markings , meter placements ect… I think in 16 years we’ve hit one electric and 3 gas( which are very hard to pic up ) and that’s only cause they’ve been 2” below ground in odd places
