If we can trade/let go of Demar and Vuc then I think it's a good idea. If we're not trying to win next year anyways, its low rish high reward. Maybe he gels great with the new roster and we can flip him at that point. Lavine is crazy undervalued right now, a bounce back year could do wonders for us as a franchise.
