Thank you! This video was really helpful in giving us the info we needed to help us decide which camera to buy. You hit all the questions we had and we just put the B6 Touch in our Amazon cart. Now, just hoping for a good Black Friday discount!

The other bad thing is that these manufacturers install those camera systems waaay too low and the signal tends to drop when the reciever is up on the tow vehicle dash. Great video, Chris and hope all your other components are working fine!

So far so good! It was definitely overdue

@@saltytrips Hey Chris, Those Haloview's are getting a lot of attention now. I will eventually have to change out the Furrion that is on the back of our Cougar as the lens is distorted. It's 4 years old and I suspect the sun just tore it up.

@@_FollowYourPath seems like thats a reoccurring theme with these furrion cameras.

Big difference! I’ve been looking at getting a camera for ours. This one looks good.

I really like it, that Furrion was horrible

Another great video! Thank you. I would but that camera, but I'm too cheap. lol

I’m so glad we have it now though, that Furrion was horrible.

I realize that this is a commercial for Haloview but we have the 7” Furrion and it’s not at all blurry. It gives me a clear view out the back while driving as well as when backing up. And I agree with you, I don’t like to mount anything “permanently” to my dash that will damage it in any way.

Our Furrion was definitely blurry mess. Halo touch screen was a nice upgrade too. I always give honest reviews, I’ve told companies i’ll send their product back if I didn’t like it.

My Furrion was a challenge. If I was back in my driveway, it worked fine, going under a bridge fine, right next to a truck (but usually not soon enough to see it coming). maybe the omnidirectional antenna doesn't put out enough signal to the front. So I put a coax connection and moved it to the roof, only slightly better, bigger antenna, no better. I may try to make a directional antenna to point forward. If I have the time, otherwise a new camera will be installed up by the roof to give the signal a better path.

The antenna extension they make for this one would really help with longer rigs 👍

My Furrion did the same thing yours did, i think the cam lens on the Furrion is made of a dense plastic and overtime the sun bakes it. I did get a different brand of backup cam from Amazon, way cheaper and looks better than Furrion ever did! If the sun bakes my new cam I'm not as worried - 100 bucks vs 500 bucks.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure thats what happened to our Furrion.

I like that it is expandable. A bit pricey for something I am not sure I would use a lot.

Yeah, may add more down the road, definitely a good option

@@saltytrips Is the 12.5 tall enough for you to get on the roof of the trailer? I have the same trailer as you. Weight is 21.6 pounds which is very nice.

@@davesauerzopf6980 yes , you can see in the video we had it all the way up to the camera and still had four more extensions left to extend.

You can polish the lens on that old camera and it would be like new, but I guess that would not be dramatic enough for your video 🙄
