I loved your reaction. I can't imagine listening to him for the first time. I was in love with his music during the 70's and saw him several times live in concert. There was no other singer like him.

Al Green is one of the greatest Soul/R & B singers of all times and is definitely still alive. You are beautiful and I enjoyed your reaction, which was pure and honest. You should definitely check out his live performance of the song "For the Good Times" on Soul Train. I'm sure you will love it.

He is singing a song that was actually written & sung by, “The Bee Gee’s.” Al Green actually has the best rendition of this song. And this song has been sung by many others. I LOVE your reaction. He actually is a great singer!!! This does not describe him at his best!!!! Love you! Keep on keeping on!!! & he is still alive. He is about the 72 or 73.

My Beautiful African Sister I really enjoyed your reaction to this Great Performance. You have just stumbled upon what we here in America call ("SOUL MUSIC, and R & B MUSIC FROM THE 1970's AND 1980's)...There are many more Great Artists and Songs that you have yet to hear that are Brilliantly Performed by your "African American" Brothers and Sisters in this Genre of Music..... I Sincerely hope that you will explore, Listen, and react to more of these Talented Singers...(AL Green, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Teddy Pendergrass, Anita Baker, Luther Vandross and many, many, more).... Peace from America.

I love AL Green, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye and the list is long !💜 Soul / RB music is my jam grew up on Motown! Al Green does something wonderful when he sings, you have to follow him. Al grew up in Midwest USA sang in church, his dad told him singing was only for the glory of The Lord. Well the family moved to Michigan & you know what started in Detroit & became a phenomenal success MOTOWN !! Al started listening to the sounds around him & when he sang at home his father kicked him out, he wandered the streets & clubs and tried to sing there, he wasn’t doing well until he met a man who heard Al sing & told him Al, I can make you a star⭐️ That’s when his story began, he thrived in being a star loved performing and then things started to turn sour 😢 Al decided to leave the bright lights & only sing for his Lord, and he started a church I think in Memphis, Tennesee (USA) and that is what he is doing with his life 🥰 If you want to see something special look up on KZbin The Kennedy Centre Awards, and search for the night of tribute honouring Rev Al Green. You will love it 💜☮️😻 sending love from 🇨🇦 Canada!

Al Greens cover of this song is good but still prefer the original written by Barry and Robin Gibb in 1971. Al Green covered this song in 1972. You have to listen to the Original. by the Bee Gees

The man himself Al Green!! If you really need to see him in a good rendition song of Sam Cooke's A Change is Gonna Come. You will see him reach for his soul and sing it from the heart. Good to see younger generation enjoying the music I grew up with.
