Las Vegas, USA. - Count’s 77, a hard rock band from Las Vegas, is fronted by lead singer Danny “Count” Koker, star of HISTORY’S hit series, “Counting Cars”.
With roots in 70’s hard rock, Count’s 77 is further powered by the twin guitar team of Stoney Curtis and John Zito, the former of whom has an international following as a recording and touring blues guitarist. With musical roots as diverse as Thin Lizzy, Foghat, The Allman Brothers and Led Zeppelin, Count’s 77 stands poised to be one of the leaders of the new classic rock revival. Soul Transfusion is the logical step forward in this stellar hard rock band’s recording career whose first record received critically acclaim internationally and established the band as one of the most promising new hard rock bands on the scene. The band recently completed their first video of their song “Summer of 77” which will be released imminently.
Danny “Count” Koker, is Count’s 77’s charismatic front man and was singing long before he came into international fame as the owner of Count’s Kustoms, his Las Vegas-based hotrod and chopper shop which is the subject of History’s hit TV show “Counting Cars” where the band was featured performing live with George Lynch.
Stoney Curtis, lead guitarist for Count’s 77, has amassed an international following as a recording and touring blues guitarist, releasing a steady flow of product for the last ten years, with international airplay and CD’s which consistently have made Amazon.com’s blues charts. Tommy Paris, is not only the band’s incredible keyboardist but he has been known internationally for nearly 25 years as the lead singer of platinum rockers Britny Fox. Rhythm and slide guitarist John Zito forged a career on the LA rock scene before bonding with Koker and Curtis. Virtuoso rock bassist Barry Barnes, having played bass in the critically acclaimed show “Rock Of Ages” and powerhouse drummer Paul Disibio form the rhythm section with strength and authority.
A lot of great things have happened for the band since their self-titled release in 2014. The band has played a series of charity shows for war veterans, drawing 5,000 to 10,000 people per event. They also performed at the Les Paul 100th Anniversary Party at the Hard Rock in Times Square with acts such as Steve Miller, Joe Bonamassa, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and a host of other guitar legends and they were also the house band for the all star jam that ensued post party at the Iridium. The band headlined nine Autorama shows this past year and also played numerous large bike rallies, including Sturgis’ Full Throttle Saloon, The Roar On The Shore in Erie PA and Bike Fest in Piqua Ohio playing for up to 25,000 people per show. They also headlined The Big E in Eastern Massachusetts which events drew 5,000 to 15,000 and Ally Bank recently began their sponsorship of the band.
Look for Count’s 77 to play a series of Autorama shows in 2017 and other venues in the USA and Canada.

Stated watching counting cars because I liked seeing the old cars completely redone. Then I noticed how he treated people. Seems very kind and respectful not an arrogant jerk and deals with people beautifully. (Wish I could) so... I figured I'd check the band out. FIGURES... No gimmicks or show boating just rocking out with some good tunes. Hats off to him and his band and him and his Counts Kustoms crew. Men take note.. Arrogance makes you ugly. I sat down at the Presidential Lounge in Riverside California at the Mission Inn. Ordered my drink and looked to my left and it was Danny! Cool ass dude, and I never let him know I knew who he was, we just talked like dudes staying at the same hotel (I don’t know for sure he stayed there). Never once talked about cars, just life. I met Danny and John Zito in Meridian MS and was luck enough to hang with them for a bit. They were doing a biker rally. Great guys. He's stuck in the wrong decade. This would have been rockin my Nova back in the day and on the charts for sure.

Went to Hawthorne Nevada last year (2019) for their first annual Car Show. It was a MEGA turn out! And The Count and his Badass crew showed up. Was able to talk the man into a photo selfie I tell ya, He is like you've seen him, very kind and respectful to all he meets. That to me is the key, Kindness even if you don't feel like it, and you're blessed. I try to lift my friends and family up the way this man does for folks. I love this guy. His auto shop is solid Ace's. His can do, humble attitude is righteous beyond exception. The band sounds tight and on point. That's why I hate myself for this critique. I'm 62 and been a metal head all my life. Personally I believe Bon Scott had a God given talented singing voice 2nd to none. As nice, respectful & with much love I say this. Find you a young, fresh voice to do the vocals. Step back and manage the band. Your true talent is construction. You create beauty from nothing. You want a world class band? I'm sitting here watching Count's Customs on TV now and I decided to check out Danny's band! And I just listened to the summer of 77. And he's so right!! I was 17 and just got my driver's license and I was cruising around in my first car! A 64 Chevelle SS! And you couldn't tell me SHIT about life!!! I was just living and loving life!! 30 days of driving and I lost my license for speeding!! Oh and almost running over a cop that was directing traffic due to a stop light being out! And I was running late for work!! Ahhh the good ol days!!! Wow I have since had over a hundred different cars, trucks and motorcycles since then!! But like Danny said in his song ! Oh how I would love to go back and relive those days again!! And knowing what I know now that I never knew then!! Hope you keep rocking Count's 77!! And I will be checking out more of your music on KZbin!! And may even invest in buying some of your music!! And I watch Count's Customs all the time!! Because I am just a Huge Car Nut!! Rock On!!

Ok I love the cars they crank out but my God these guys are rocking. Yeah I could listen to this music and not get tired of it. Great sound and they are old school. I am stoked hearing this form the first time. Sorry I took so long but damn well worth it. They really rock me out. Good going count and you all have the skills.
