You see, Mikau's death might seem humorous (because it kinda is), but that's really because he is expressing his final words through his passion, that being music. He essentially played his final song and gave his final message at the same time, achieving both goals in mind.

I always found the scene where Mikau dies really mixed emotions. He's all like ok "I'm going to die now listen to my message" *gets up and sings* (he also has the most hilarious voice ever!). "That's all thank you" *falls on the ground*. Like what is that? Comic relief? I dunno it always makes me laugh to see that (don't hate me I know it's meant to be sad)

Being brutally honest, for the most emotional Zelda I couldn't defend this scene. I think it's ok, but anyone says it could lose Mikau's singing to be more emotional they'd be 100% right. Problem is it had to stand out from Darmani's death somehow, and maybe that was the best they could do... barring seeing Mikau get mortally injured while rocking and that'd be too much even for Majora's Mask.

To be honest I didn’t cry in both darmani and mikaus scenes but it gave me a feeling of overwhelming sadness just knowing that both of this two beings where alive at some point and they think that they didn’t die in peace also the part that gets me even more is that no one in the game knows that they died because once you wear their masks they all think that they are still alive which just makes it worst (in my opinion) also and lastly seeing a character die right infront of us in a kids game is kinda f up

If fact, if you talk to the people in the town its really sad- they know they are going to die in just a few hours. While Link can happily rewind time they dont have that option. And its also possible to try to summon the giants to stop the moon when you dont have all 4 yet. The ones that show up get crushed and die :D

Go BACK to the second dungeon, warp to the boss and beat him again. In the area before goron village (the area is called mountain village, there is an own statue) there is a little cabin with some smiths. Because you beat the second boss again, it is spring and their mantle is thawed out, and the racetrack can open once

While you are waiting, go to the newly opened racetrack and win the race (may take a few tries). You will get the gold dust and an empty bottle. Next morning, when you pick up your razor sword, talk to them again and they will ask if you have gold dust. If you do, they will reforge it AGAIN for free, taking
