Countdown to Competition: my try in competitive bodybuilding

Welcome back everyone! Happy Thursday! As some of you might have known, we went to Destin, Florida over the weekend for the Men's Physique competition. We had a surprisingly great time even with all the stress. I have the best cheerleaders: Bernardo, my parents, and my Aunt Sue, who could ask for anything better? Thank you all very much for the encouragement and support throughout the year. I couldn't have done it without you all :) Now, we have many more things to pack. I better get going. Big hugs to you.

Hey Carina, I wouldn't have done this competition without his support. His support is important to me and I would never try to achieve a goal that would hinder our relationship. From the start of our relationship, we made a promise that we would respect each other. What Bernardo did for me these past 11 months, he deserves all my love and respect :)

It took me a really long time to realize my first love wasn’t really love, and more of an illusion and a reflection of my deep-rooted insecurities. Someone putting you down on a daily basis and being verbally abusive is not what a relationship should be. You both are such an inspiration. As Adam has experienced, it really isn't about winning but about doing your best; the consistency in all those little things along the way. Doing your best may not guarantee winning but at least there will be no regrets. It's growth that matters in the end. If you keep on growing, you will win eventually. You may win without having to compete with anyone else but it is less satisfying knowing you have more to give. So it is really the knowledge that you have done your best so there will be no regrets regardless of the outcome.
