Following our 'steps': how did we get here?
We are Adam (North American) and Bernardo (Brazilian) and we are husbands whose paths crossed back in 2016, when we both still lived in Brazil. Since the very beginning, we shared a common passion for travel and nature, which has only grown over the years and led us to this unexpected journey on KZbin, which has allowed us to connect with an amazing community that we’re beyond grateful for. “Go out and make memories” is our motto of living and a constant reminder for us that true happiness doesn’t come from the material wealth we accumulate, but from the memories we create and share with our loved ones throughout our existence. We invite you to join us in our crazy journey in life and hopefully we can inspire you to go out and make some memories on your own. Welcome aboard!

Hi George. I know this reply is coming 2 years after you posted but better late than never I guess. It's nice to see a few fellow Kenyans following these guys and enviously aspiring to have a relationship of the caliber Adam and Bernardo have. I started watching their videos a few years ago when they were still living in Brazil and only had about 50k subscribers. I was so enamored with their chemistry and the quality of their relationship. I remember telling someone that they exemplify the true definition of the term "soulmate". Yes, we do live in a country that is quite homophobic, and even if legislation changes, unfortunately, I don't see widespread acceptance by society changing significantly anytime soon thanks in large part to how religious we are as a country (not in my lifetime anyway; as I am probably a few decades older than you). That leaves you presumably with the option of leaving the country to find love or taking a chance and looking for somebody here. I have a couple of gay friends right here in Nairobi who although obviously do not have the luxury of being anywhere near as open as Adam and Bernardo can be in the U.S., have each been in loving, committed relationships with their respective boyfriends for a number of years. I also note that in recent years, attitudes are changing slowly, especially amongst you young guys (Gen Zees and younger) so hold on to the positive and stay open; maybe your "Adam" or "Bernardo" is just round the corner, waiting to meet you! 😻😄

Finally !! It's unbelievable to say it, but I feel like I'm watching the relationship I crave for. I just came across your channel weeks ago, and being binge watching your videos since 2017. Gavin, you had to have been there when we saw our first bird that whole trip. I (Adam) was wanting to record some birds since I got a bit attached to them in rehab. When we saw this bird on our last morning and about 2 hours before checking out, we were screaming inside but thankfully we had the camera. A few days passed and the woman who does Natural Medicine and Herbal Teas told us that it could be a Stellar Blue Jay and then when we googled it we were stunned. Mother Nature was speaking to us :)

I seriously had goosebumps almost the entire watching this newly released video, maybe because of the background music that I find really so calm, relaxing, soulful, and maybe the video transitions from different forms of nature (stream, mountains, cabin location and oh goodness, the blue bird on the last part!!!!), but more over to these things, I got this chills all over my body realizing that Adam and Bernardo finally comes back and yes they are! And with all those words that came out from their mouth, those story sharing moments that I've missed a lot, their intimate and caress movements towards each other, just "WOW" they're​ finally here again. Seeing Adam as new as a I couldn't believe he'll be, got me feeling in awe and the way he expresses himself in front of the camera (I'm maybe exaggerating) but yea I couldn't think how that 2 month rehabilitation process makes him really new as he is now. And with Bernardo, I felt so deeply empathy​ towards him for the couple of months he's been alone in Oregon, he's been such a brave man, he's been so amazing carrying the struggles that he had to deal with, I feel so sorry for the bereaved of his father, I just really can't say any words or reaction how strong Bernardo as a person is. Every time both of you speak, it serves to me as an inspiration, every stories that you shares to us give us the value of how to be grateful in life. Both of you are so blessed to have each other, both of you are blessed to have the full support of all your love ones and your friends and as Bernardo were saying they're thankful for the support system that both of them [Adam] has. I am looking forward for the upcoming videos, now I don't have to think of any worries that you might not come back in the KZbin screen cause' you're really back here. Stay safe and healthy and continue to inspire us to go out and make memories. Lots of love from PHL.

Bernardo, I cannot tell you how many times I have thought about Adam and his recovery. I have gone through recovery myself, and have been sober for 21 years. I am so glad you two are reunited again. One soul cannot live without its mate. For Adam, I know he suffered from depression issues arising from trauma. For me, because I was an alcoholic, I suffered from depression and panic attacks caused by alcohol; no trauma. Today, I no longer have depression, and I no longer suffer from panic attacks. I am at peace with myself and the world around me. It is my wish that this same peace, love and happiness that you share follow you both for all of your days wherever you go. You two are special. Take care, stay well, and of course, go make new memories.
