OK, 543. Haven't seen it done this way yet and other commentators seem to have more steps than they need. I did: 8 x 75 = 600, - 50 = 550, - 7 = 543.
@mazza6856 жыл бұрын
The other way I got was 75x7 = 525. On the side you then do 50 divided by 5 to get 10. Add the 10 to 525 as well as the 8 to get 543.

There's a very collegiate atmosphere here. It's less like a parlour game, more like the World Chess Championships with that layout. Also I was getting the impression they had their own Petrol Station when they started the Numbers Game (somewhat topical).

I got the first numbers game with the following method: 75 + 4 = 79 79 x 7 = 553 50 / 5 = 10 553 - 10 = 543 It's ridiculous how that arithmetician actually got the job if she couldn't even get it perfectly. Having seen the full series of calendar countdown, it is so obvious that mathematical ability wasn't listed as an important skill for getting the job during those days before Carol Vorderman

I very quickly had this, 75 x 8 = 600 600 - 50 - 7 = 543 Yet with the extra time while he explained the rules after the selection, and the additional 15 seconds, no one got it 🤷♂😂

Yep, Started first on Yorkshire TV as a regional show only (so no one outside Yorkshire TV region received it) then it moved to Channel 4 and went nationwide when that C4 launched, lost the Calendar bit from the name but kept the presenter.
