Love Counter Fairy, but honestly (see what I did there), Counter Fairy specifically the Parshath archetype still needs more support like a good normal summon "Parshath" monster that can synergize with the entire deck. I know this sounds broken at first, but I think the deck would really benefit from having a monster effect that allows you to "activate Counter Trap cards from hand", "activate Counter Trap cards the turn it was set", or better yet "Set Counter Trap Cards from deck/GY to field, and can be activated the turn it was set". Of course, there would need to be a requirement/cost for you to have these effects on board. Something like "This effect can only resolve if you control a Parshath monster and a Counter Trap card in the GY" or "This effect can only resolve if you control a Parshath monster and "The Sanctuary in the Sky" similar to how the Gravekeepers archetype works. I like the new Parshath link monster. It lets you search out "Sanctum of Parshath" and most fairy type monsters. Not a huge fan of its secondary effect though because the card itself doesn't float into "Sacred Arch-Airknight Parshath" when it's send to the GY which is a really major miss opportunity :( The reason why I think these effect works is because ALL the Counter Trap search cards state "Add ____ from your deck to hand" which is great BUT you're most likely activating those effects during your opponent's turn. Meaning you would have to wait for your opponent's turn to end, set your Counter Trap card during your turn, end turn, THEN activate during your opponent's turn again..........which in my opinion is too slow and vulnerable against today's format. This is why Counter Fairy absolutely gets wrecked going second because it has almost 0 recovery capability and by the time you have the resources in hand to set up your board, it's already too late to make a comeback and win. Bottom line is that Counter Fairy is a very fun (or toxic lol) deck to play; however, if you don't see certain cards in your opening hand or find ways to KEEP them on field, then it's basically a wrap....... Counter Fairy excels because it HAS the ability to out-grind your opponents and nobody runs as much Spell-speed 3 cards as Counter Fairy so when it comes to "chain battles" you win 99% of the time. With that being said, that's also its weakness.The deck revolves around a "reactive" strategy that forces your opponent to activate card effects, but you seldom go on the offensive or have the resource to establish field presence without using "Ties of the Brethren". The deck is slow and lacks synergy to put up a "consistent" board or a "versatile" board that can deal with existing cards on field.

Yeah, considering that every single counter trap (there's about 130 of them) has to be activated in response to something and generally just negate or otherwise "counter" it, letting you activate them the turn they're set isn't too big of a deal since they're still not that fast. This is as opposed to just trap cards in general where you have things like Jar of Greed and other cards that you can just activate not in response to anything, which makes stuff like Makyura the Destructor incredibly broken.

Some people are completely opposed to the card out of principle. But its worth noting that the 3 counter fairies (Artemis, Meltiel, and Minerva) do not activate. Every single one of them work perfectly well under Mystic Mine, and you can never deck out (as you stated) even against 60 card lists. Condemned Witch is also a pretty awesome card in this deck, since you don't need the fairy on the field til your opponents turn anyway.

what about a combo with celestial knightlord parshat and agents? agent venus can summon 3 shine ball to summon parshat, and parshat can add to your hand master hyperion, and if you have a exodius in hand can return the balls and summon again, 2 cards and you get parshat, hyperion and a lot of link monsters with the shine balls

slow and inconsistent. your only good openers are earth and venus. if earth is negated, end turn. if venus is negated, end turn. if you open with one or more shine ball, end turn. plus, the cost for the new link is way too high for the amount of life points and resources to put into it. I'd rather control my opponents board and use the link merely as a secondary option, not a playmaker.

You have to try Venus with Sanctum.I love to put shine balls back to summon them again creates really good boards with the addition of the new links.
