@@prakhargupta5676 The difference with CSGO is that it has an actual story behind it, which is probably called "Global Offensive" and then same name applied to the game as an affix after "Counter-Strike". I mean, the "Counter-Strike Source" is self-explanatory, its CS but in Source. And while CSGO does look different from Source, the engine is pretty much the same thing. It's been only updated, meanwhile Source 2 is vastly upgraded and rewritten.

@@josh.c36 i would say one of the big reasons people dont play is because of the toxicity and competitiveness. new players never get respected in unranked neither in ranked. ive not really experienced it that much because ive been playing since 2013 when the toxicity wasnt as high but some of my friends have experienced this and thats why they stuck to valorant. less toxic ( most of the times) and little bit less comp. i obviously cant speak for the person you were replying to but this is maybe a cause why.

I love it. Big part of playing CSGO is to be able to see your enemy. The gloomy broody aesthetic hampers a lot of CSGO's competitive nature. The funny thing is that aesthetic is something you would only see in CS: Source and old CSGO Every iteration of CSGO's maps are very bright and pleasing to see. Just boot up 1.6 and see the map for yourself.

I got an invite. The invite notification was an orange banner right above the news. It just said Counter strike 2. It's definitely going to have higher requirements for your system. It's using more up-to-date stuff though, CSGO's so it's going to be better optimised as well, and using your system more effectively. Can't predict the actual requirements though
