zuhn, smileybs, franzj... all of these players are just pseudomovement matchmaking players doing jumps easily doable by a average kz player, i dont know how this is a "counter strike best movement players" when its literally all matchmaking warriors that would struggle on a tier3 kz map... also when talking about movement surf and autobhop should definetly be included

the reason that im playing goldsource, source and source 2 games is because of hammer (level editor for source engine) because its just good so yeah everyone has their different reason why they play the same game

phoon is surely the pioneer with LOLYOU, but you forgot about CS 1.6 movement players even if they were less known than him grizzLY, Flow, IceVIP, zyllEE and others I forgot. They surely wasn't into competitive scenes tricks, but were legends in HnS and KZ which are the main movements scenes.

Movement in CS:S was lackluster and extremely limiting. If you want to talk about the origins and good movement players, you will have to go back to 1.6. There were movement monsters before 2010 that had 10 times better movement than anything you've shown from the CS:S part. For example, with default 1.6 settings, here's a 01:30 world record from 2010 on the most iconic kz/bhop map of all time - bkz_goldbhop, whereas the maps' WR history dates back to 2006 (and that is because the map was released in 2006, there are older maps from 2002 that people have tracked the records of to this day) kzbin.info/www/bejne/roeucnqEa8Zqqsk Either way, as other commenters have pointed out, even vanilla movement KZ players in CS2/GO have better movement than whatever matchmaking players do for highlights.

i get the videos is about ligit movement but personally i feel like movement cheaters should have been at least mentioned the routes you can hit with movement cheats aren't as impressive as ligit routes but you can learn so much from watching cheated routes
