the timer on screen is not reflecting the actual server times which would be 00:53:48 for the WR by src and 00:52:85 for the TAS run

@@ashton4222 vid says 52:51 and 53:29 53 seconds +29 frames = 53.483 for the WR 52 seconds +51 frames = 52.850 for the TAS catch is I'm pretty sure server timers are locked to tickrate, so in this case, times should probably be rounded up to the nearest 1/66 second (0.015151 or 15.151515 miliseconds) so the times might be: 53.485 (possibly 53.470) WR 52.848 (possibly 52.864) TAS

for me, it's a combination of: - the advantage of using one usually isn't huge on 66t (the things with the most potential to save time are optimized routes and ramp boardings) - visually, i prefer more human-like strafing - keeps it more comparable to an optimal human player

@@bamtna 1-ticks should be doing boarding automatically, and you can optimise routes further with 1-tick + turnbinds (modifying yawspeed for each turn). To each their own, I just find it weird to sacrifice that free timesave and the ability to not have to think about boarding

@UC2D4dfmTvbUPKukW03T7iFA turnbinds will always be, theoretically, the most optimal way to turn as they remove the variability and instability of human movement, as well as any speed inconsistencies. This is why FPSGod was turning with them in his last few TASes. It’s not so much a simplistic view, nor was it meant to be an insult, I just think they would be more optimal, by a little bit, which I think should be the goal when TASing. Your TAS tool is really cool tho, I wish I had something like that for bhop/csgo KZ TASes
