This album structurally is exactly the same as the previous album. Don’t believe me? Both albums consist of majorly melodic hardcore riffs throughout it. It has one intro track AKA: Love Me/Walk Away Slowly. Towards the middle of the album is where you get the more sinister sounding track AKA: Your Own Knife/Thieves. Then it ends with a ballad type ending which usually is the title of their record AKA: Nothing Left to Love/You’re Not You Anymore.

you seriously know nothing about this „scene“. Listen to Casey, listen to The Amity Affliction, listen to Being As An Ocean, you can listen to bands that go on tour together. Many share the same topic in their lyrics, and that’s what makes it so unique. It’s not even about „Emo kill-myself“ it’s about processing trauma, experiences in life. And yes some might write stuff coz they feel that way or did feel that way atleast, but many also write about it to not make others feel so alone. And yes you might never have felt that way, good for you, but for many of us music is a place to come to and listen to what others have to say and to relate to it. I know Brendan is strong enough to not end it all, but still I‘m thankful for these lyrics and for the thoughts he expresses. Man whatever, I could explain it to you even more, but you probably won’t understand.

@x _ x Whats wrong with liking heavy music and not knowing what the vocals are about?
