Yeah, this is a very hard DC. This boss is like a tank and my backline always in danger. I have Swan, Ecleccia but it still be hardcore with me!

@@dangquangminhbui7494 Yeah, it’s insane that the devs thought it was a good idea to buff him this much. I’m dreading about future DCs if they’re going to buff them as much as King.

@@Coffin_Company_Hana I think it can be true because we will have more and more powerfull units in the future, so that contents in game need to be more difficult so that old players don't get bored. Many games I've played devolop like that, so if it happen I won't be surprised.

If I were to compare this season's DC fight to Arknights, it would be Arknights' Contigency Contract #9. Trash mobs that can literally make a character virtually useless, and a boss that has immunity to almost all status debuffs and a map-wide Ultimate that can wipe 3-4 characters in a single shot. Yeah, good ol' PTSD times 😂. Plus, it was a hasle to clear due to the very same reason as this boss fight, RNG 😂.

@@Coffin_Company_Hana It ain't gonna be a hassle if the devs added some alternative ways to balance this DC. For example, keeping the Skill Seal debuff, so the boss can still be cheesed by using characters that have Skill Seal, while still maintaining a level of challenge with that 8 million HP of his. This season's DC is just hard for the sake of being hard, not challenging or brain scratching.

@ It definitely would help if Skill Seal is an option, though 8M is still a lot of HP to go through. Well for my roster that is.

@@Coffin_Company_Hana But it's still doable without any RNG shenanigans, just takes a while to clear. Or, the devs can learn from Honkai Impact's Elysian Realm mode where they give us ways to eliminate enemies or bosses buffs by performing certain attacks, skills, or damage types. This gives the players the incentive to use lower rarity characters or characters that has skills or attack types that eliminates the boss's buffs. Counterside already has those infrastructures in place, but they should also give the players more than 1 type of buff, instead of the current system we have now. Honkai Impact's Elysian Realm mode sometimes gives the players 3 or even more buffs on a weekly basis so that players are ALWAYS able to achieve the MINIMUM SCORE for the rewards, no matter how broken or unfair the week's current bosses are.

@ I think that sounds an interesting system to have and I’m down for more unit variety, mechanics, usage, and different buffs like you stated. I think I stated this before but I would like it if the Devs took a look at older kits of lower rarity characters and make them provide a niche. Like on the top of my head, Lee Jin and Lee Minseo both provide ASPD Down but they could change one of them to provide a niche.
