I’m wondering if you’ve seen the Kitplanes articles that Paul Dye is doing on his build for the next few issues, he mentions the same problems you’ve had with the anodizing and powder coated parts binding. His solution was basically the same as yours, remove it!

Barry, thanks for commenting. I've been corresponding with Paul and about 16 other builders exchanging information and experiences building (and flying) the jet. Lots of good info. And Paul has some great experience and has been a wealth of information and advice. If you ever decide to build let me know!
