Absolutely brilliant. I'm a huge Counting Crows fan, but have only got to see them twice - both times in Manchester. This concert was one of the times. The other was in November 2014. I took my camera to that one so regularly get to rewatch it. I didn't to this one in 2009, so I'm really grateful for this reminder of a great day. 😀

Did god himself just descend from the heavens and whisper in my ear? I heard the angels weep and those tears were not those of sorrow, but joy. You can try to count the crows, but will inevitably fail as you drift into the heavens with the hymns not of man, but of the transcendent, of Adam Duritz. To think, the reincarnation of Christ himself would rise again in the city Baltimore and bless earthly peasants with a mash up only ever heard by those who have laid they’re heads at the feet of the creator.
