Loved Bo Dallas when he came up from NXT and had a mini win streak, always looked like a complete natural/ third generation wrestler plus a really gifted promo. Hopefully he goes on a run because his backstage promos now are on an another level than anything else on the show. Also I think Adam Page is headed back to the main event picture because he’s seriously over even as a heel

Liked the list, one wrestler that has been growing on me lately is Solo. He's gotten way better on his promos and on his mannerisms, he's showing some personality rather than just being stone faced all the time. I also find his matches have been very good in the last little while.

I got to see Hangman Page win the AEW World Title at Full Gear 2021 in Minneapolis. He had been my favorite for over a year and it was an amazing match

Priest is such a weird case. He looked so cool coming in as Punishment Martinez, then went full goof during his US title run. Even with judgement day he was just a minion. He finally started to gain some legitimacy by getting away from the comedy members of Judgement Day and being presented as equal to Rhea. Then they end his reign and all momentum is gone.

Yeah for sure especially when he put Gunther so low on it. He should be at least top 5 & Roman Reigns should be the no 1 guy just for the fact he main evented more WM's than Hogan now, was on a 3 streak for the championship for 3 years plus, I think at 1 point he hasn't been pinned in over 1 year in tag matches he was in. Cuts excellent promos when he was the leader of the bloodline & elevated guys like Sami Zayne, & Jay Uso etc.....Then Gunther broke a ic record to become no 1 champion. Like yeah I love Kevin Owens, but come on he hasn't done anything of value.

The Rocky Starks pick was a little weird but he was showing promise before he dissapeared and Edge had an awesome feud with Christian, good promos and matches for the most part so he’s deserving since he’s also a legend in the biz

My only disagreement with you on this list is "Swerve" Strickland...he's just a way overrated Kofi Kingston wanna be, and he doesn't even do it as good as Chris Bey (who has sustained a very real, and severe injury in TNA, and from what I've heard, may lose his career). Other than that, this is a great list ...

@@banzaisdead I've been watching Shane "Swerve" Strickland since he was in Lucha Underground, and his moves may have gotten crisper, but it's all stuff that Kofi Kingston has been doing for a lot longer, and doing a lot better. In A.E.W. he's just added some grit and anger to it, but he's still basically the same "Swerve"... I worked in the business for almost 7 years back in the late 70's/early 80's and I've been a pro wrestling fan for 57+ years, but you are most definitely allowed your opinion, because, my friend, opinions are like assholes, everybody has one ...lol...."Have a nice day...bang bang"

The depth of character Swerve showed during the Hangman feud, what has Kofi done that's even comparable?

He's only been ic champion for 666 days making him the no 1 guy to hold that title since the Honkey Tonk Man since the 80's. Like ok, not sure why he likes him the best when he hasn't done anything. Yeah I guess if he likes whatever it's his list. This is like if he said, He liked the Panasonic 3DO. Adam Page should have been fired for swerving a main eventer. Whatever you think of his work, that behaviour against a top draw would have gotten him fired. If that had happened in WCW with equivalent wrestlers, Bischoff of all people would have fired him. But AEW has a thing about burying their most promising talents, usually because they were friends with a top draw who they fired because he didn’t get along with people who didn’t draw. Look at the arena attendance for AEW’s TV tapings. I’m not even a fan of WWE and haven’t for 20 years, but while they’re getting it together, AEW can’t make stars that draw money.

Punk walked out on WWE. He then started TWO fights in AEW and got fired. Punk IS not a saint. There are two sides and Punk was not an innocent bystander. You can bet that Punk was read the riot act before returning to WWE.

Adam Page is a scumbag wrestler. That has a big impact on my opinion of a wrestler. But I agree with your placement of Starks. I saw him in a collision event recently live and he was great.

The only bad thing about page is he went off script once in a way where if that was the end of no one would notice or remember the promo. He wasn't involved in brawl out and hasn't really addressed the punk situation on TV or off, and no one has said anything bad about him since.
