Excellent. Wish you had been around when I was learning.

Great video! Love this series. Do you know if this is the main way pro's count? Or are there different counting method used at the highest level?

I'm sure there are other methods but this is the way I know most experts count.

Thanks Peter, this is a useful video. Is it true that experts could often count the exact distribution of the declarer after playing a hand, or do they count only the suits that matter the most? Should I be trying to count all four suits of the declarer at the table for every board?

They do both depending on the hand. If they think it is useful they will count all four suits. If the play play is pretty known they will save energy. It is all about building good habits. Aim to try and count a bit more each time you play until it becomes easier.

100%. I know to do this analysis. The problem is that it takes time to do this at the table and the director would be eyeballing me. I suppose using BBO as practice is worthwhile in this regard.

Definitely. One way I like to think about it is pretend you are learning to play a piece of music, you wouldn't expect to do it perfectly right at the start at tempo. You can either start slowly and try and speed up with practice or try and do a little bit in time and then once you got that down move on to do a little bit more.
