Hey Christina , Maybe you have answered this question in the past and I missed it but I was just curious of something...... Being that you went from a below amputee to an Above. I was wondering how come your amputation is so high on your thigh compared to many above knee amputee's I have seen in the past that their amputation is just above the normal knee area for a longer residual limb.

I am sooo happy for you that you got something you wanted taken care of. Thank you for saying about the tatt red being there because of the tattoo. I was going to say that looks quite angry. But if they are using glue....why did they staple? My God, those hurt! Consider yourself lucky with just 55 staples. I had 73 after my hip disarticulation. I dreaded sitting...come to find out, when the staples came out, it was 100%better.

Wow they sewed my right leg after my AKAmp, and stamped my left leg when took out a vein to try to save the right leg . The staple scar is horrible the sewn scar looks good. Thank you food with your new socket still waiting for my new 1 leg shrank.
