These secrets make it feel like cheating. In this golf video Steve Johnston has a golf lesson with the #1 shortgame coach in Scotland Fraser Mann. You will learn that getting the correct right ball position and right arm action correct will feel so easy.
Fraser explains to Steve what he feels and how from those feels he can easily change ball flight ensuring strike is always perfect. It's just like cheating when you know how.
💥EUREKA GOLF SWING💥
For a golf swing that is CONSISTENT, provides a flat left wrist, compression, lag and more. Steve's EUREKA GOLF SWING METHOD is now being implemented in 62 countries taking the golfers game to a place that allows the body to turn, the flight to straighten and compression to become a reality.
The starting place is the "iron swing series" offering the set-up of the Eureka Golf Swing canes and a step by step tutorial of the full action.
REMEMBER: as Steve says, "There is a difference between opening your stance and aiming left".

Great to see this. There are so many different methods. Not once did I hear” use the bounce”. It’s always been a feel shot and using the same club in different ways is a great option. A delofted backfoot wedge on a soggy lie is problematic though??

What others are teaching now is to stand closer to the ball with the handle more upright, face a bit open, heel of club off the ground with weight mostly on front foot, swing straight back & thru. Keeps the leading edge from sticking in the ground if the ball is back & hands forward causing a duff. The club changes or the swing length depending on the length of the shot.

Short game chef style. Been trying it out lately myself. Some pretty interesting results so far but I alternate between that train of thought and the more traditinal train of thought from round to round.

Steve is it possible to do a lesson with this gentleman on how he plays a soft lob shot & a soft greenside bunker shot. I tend to think of these 2xshots pretty similar techniques but I maybe wrong. Also on the course when I'm faced with having to play a soft high Lob shot from a very tight skinny hard grass lie I struggle with both club selection & technique in playing this shot without flipping nor decelerating the swing. Using my sandwedge has far too much bounce into the ball on this type of lie which I also would imagine to be very common on your Scottish hardpan links courses.

Old school style short game, chipping with feel, still works. Just goes to show there is more than one way to play this game. I also have a feeling that the old style firm chip off back foot with a lofted club might suit your average “ less than manicured” green approaches as all short game videos these days are on premier golf facilities.... not real life!!

I followed the leader pro group for 9 holes in a local tournament recently. They all hit their standard chip shots with the ball off their back foot. Every time unless they were trying to lob it.

Im a left handed golfer but a dominant right hand .. This leaves me with little 'feel' with my left arm .. Any thoughts on adapting this ?

Everything I read about these shots says don’t play the ball back and certainly not with hands forward as this leads to leading edge digging and causing chunks?

It's surely easier to hit a chip and run it out than it is to throw it 4/5ths of the way there?

Think that’s got to depend on where you’re playing. Big difference between a green in Scotland in September and one in Arizona or wherever!
