You left out Equatorial Guinea, whose country is bisected by the Equator. Its province of Annobón lies South of the Equator.

He only listed countries intersected by the Equator. If you want to add countries with territories in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres, then you may as well add France, Norway (Bouvet Island), and the United Kingdom.

Every source on the Internet states that there are 13 countries on the Equator. Am I the only one in the world who noticed the fact that the United States is also on the Equator? Search Baker Island, it's a small uninhabited island which is under the U.S. sovereignty as an overseas territory. The Equator passes through the U.S. territory sea just south of Baker Island.

If you look carefully, the Equator also does not pass through Maldives and Kiribati on land. Coz sun rays falls vertically at the equator on months of (Mar,sep) so d temp is high when compare to countries at d equator the Philippines may also experience high temp but less when compare to countries at d equator...coz d sun rays falls slantly on d Philippines...reason(coz vertically falling rays(temp)>slantly falling rays(temp)
