Nobody should be rich. I don't agree with Venezuela or nothing but all rich people do is exploit other labour and take all the money that others labour produced. My personal solution would be worker cooperatives. They're more productive and usually survive better then traditional capitalist firms. They also allow the labourers to decide what they want rather then some corporate dictator forcing them to do stuff for very little pay.
@TheShadowguy138
@TheShadowguy138 2 жыл бұрын
@@apackalu2718 I won't claim myself to be some "expert" on the subject, but while the rich tend to indeed be a burden over many members and organizations of society, one must remember that those are the people that managed to climb, to succeed, the ones who managed to build something for themselves and/or for those they care about in this troubled world. They are what we can become if we are smart, patient, and lucky enough, and the corrupt few/bunch are a burden that must be carried if we are to have such achievements or similar in life as well. Sure, there are obviously those who managed to get their wealth through questionable means and continue to do so, but they should not taint the potential that a good citizen can bring. Imagine a person who has done their best to achieve what they want, gaining knowledge, practicing, struggling, and making sacrifices, just so that they can build a good life, only for it to be taken so that the rest, which has a large composition of uninterested people just wasting their lives, not seeking to make something worth doing, nor even better society. Unfortunately, in the end, not all can have this chance, or lose what they gain along the way, due to a large variety of reasons, but those who are able, many of them actually deserve to be where they are, and this ends up becoming a matter of "picking the good with the bad, for one cannot work without the other". It is not a reality some would like to admit, but it is the one we have, and if we are to become what we seek, we must build, we must sacrifice, we must stay strong, and never give up our good/lawful civilianhood, so that our lives can really be worth it after all, be it to yourself, and/or even society in general.
@apackalu2718
@apackalu2718 2 жыл бұрын
@@TheShadowguy138 I mean you should try to succeed in our current society but that does not make it moral. Also this idea that you can si.ply get out of poverty by sacrificing is b.s. It is a lie spread by billionaires who usually themselves were pampered by their parents to make giant businesses. Poverty is a trap that escaping it is much easier said then done. Especially if you are a minority but that is an entirely different subject. But the poor will work 3 jobs and never push out of poverty. Overworked so their children might have a chance of being better off then them. Here is another reason I don't think capitalism is good. It puts all the power in the hands of the of the rich. They lobby and create propaganda to effect the political climate so they can keep pumping co2 into the air causing global warming. The people if they had the power would rather they don't screw over their children. That is just an example. Anyways humans are also cooperative in human nature. For tens of thousands of years humans worked together to make society great without some capitalist telling them what to do. It os not some rich billionaire who makes this world great it is the workers who make it great. They are the ones who produce value. Billionaires take credit for taking the value. I know complaining isn't gonna xhange the world but I guess if I can bring you to my side this change is more likely to happen.
@TheShadowguy138
@TheShadowguy138 2 жыл бұрын
@@apackalu2718 I understand your side, and as said before, some, if not many, of the wealthy are indeed corrupt, and are likely to never bother with those below. But it actually is possible for one to rise, but it has to be very specific circumstances and working "to death" isn't enough by itself, although it can help in certain situations, with a few examples such as Bill Gates and Scott Cawthon (I am not saying I share the controversial areas of his views here by the way, its just an example), who have organically rose in society, the latter of which even managed to do make an organic monopoly with Microsoft, and while any monopoly is not healthy for society, he proved that it was possible to do so morally, as his company has/had the best there is in its area, not because he bought his way (buying companies and products) to make said monopoly (modern Microsoft is not like this anymore, unfortunately, but its past has been this way, and considering Gates retired long ago my point remains). One interesting point you've showed was that humans are cooperative, which is true, but there's more to that unfortunately, two particularly necessary sacrifices, competition and criticism, the former of which pushes society to become better, for if an organization gains a monopoly in their area, said area is likely to never face further development until a new organic competition comes by, something that is avoided by collectivist ideals due to their wish of doing what it has to survive, but not to "live", not to compete, not to become greater, just staying alive, without much care for the quality of said life; and as for the second sacrifice, criticism is often denied in cooperative environments, leaving people too accepting of their flaws and never seeking to become better than what they are, and at the worst cases, some types of criticism are outright considered as crimes, and sure, constant, destructive criticism is not something to be sought to have, but constructive criticism certainly is, or at least it should be. As for your point showing that if people had the power, they would rather not "screw over" their children, I really wished this was the case, but factors such as corruption and national problems would still be in their way, for the people are just as prone to the former as politicians and the wealthy, after all, both of these, despite their usually popular classification, are still part of society, being human beings, part of the people, who managed to rise to where they are. Humans are just too heterogeneous to make a fully cooperation-based society, some, if not many, WILL seek to make something for themselves and/or for those they have affection for, it is our nature, and it isn't a bad thing, for like I said before, competition is not an issue, but a very useful tool that has to be carefully managed so the competitors do not cross the rules/law, and while it may seem that in my argument I say that cooperation is impossible, it is not, it's just not something that should cover all layers of society, but instead be used for the strengthening of an individual by the union of several individuals, all with their own knowledge and desires, but still trying to better one another and the society around them. I like to see how you see this situation, and maybe we could even speak a little more, show if there are some issues/holes with my logic while bringing me some potential corrections, and perhaps vice-versa as well, even if one can't convince the other, reinforcing one's opinion instead, after all, political tolerance has become quite... rare in this climate, so seeing your answer was a breath of fresh air.

if you come here, you're gonna find that products such as water, food and everything else is pretty much as expensive as any country. the water and electricity bills are almost free, if not free at all, services are very cheap, you can get a haircut for like, 1 to 5$. working for a minimum wage means you'll be making 8 dollars.... a month. It is possible to live here if you have an online work in, lets say, your native country. if it does not require a stable or fast internet connection as most internet services here cost 60$ a month for 5mbps conection, being pretty unstable and willing to die if electricity goes off in the block. free internet services are well.... 200kbps at best. same issues. Although it IS possible, i would not dare to, due to skyrocket high crime rates. killing here is literally unpunished. almost legal. muggers just have stopped killing people since bullets are often as expensive as the phones they're about to mug due to extremely high gun control. (which by the way, never ever really stopped criminals from getting guns. Only the average citizens). they still can kill you with a knife as most times they ride bykes with compannion.
