years before this song came out and I was in college, I was showing livestock at the fair and got a license plate frame that said: Save a horse. Ride a Cowboy. My friends were all teasing me about it. Then I was standing in the livestock barn with my professor when this cowboy walked by and his girlfriend jumped on his back. My professor turned to me and said, it appears she is taking your advice to save a horse. hehehehehe

OMG how I loved this song! I was working a 2nd shift retail job in 2004 when this was all over the radio. It got me through a bunch of very long nights! Definitely unexpected, but SO fun!

I've been waiting for this one! I was 7 years old when this came out. I remember it was like my favorite song. Had no Idea it was so dirty at the time lol. The bridge they were filmed on is in Nashville. And I can tell you first hand that it’s a devil to walk over after a night out at LP Field during CMA week but I’d walk it a 1000 times over just to experience those nightly concerts ❤️

I prefer the animals version. Its the one my dad sang me as a kid. Didnt realise till after he died it was the only song he got 100% on the tone and words (he was tone deaf). He even got the accent on the spot. So hearing it always takes me back to my youngest memories😢

I would like to request u do a reaction to Diana Ankudinova please? Either 'Wicked Games', 'Derniere Danse' or 'Rechenka' are my favourites! She has such a unique voice, it's so hard to describe! U REALLY NEED to hear her to understand & believe the talent of this teenager! Look for these videos of her performances are best... 'Wicked Games & 'Rechenka' being performed on the TV talent show, & 'Derniere Danse' performance of her in a green gown...(I can't seem to attach the links). I think she was maybe only 13/14 yrs old when she was on 'The Voice Kids' in Russia in 2017 ( she was born in 2003) & her performance in the green gown was in 2018. Her life story is so sad...she was abandoned at a bus stop when she was 3yrs old with a broken collar bone from her biological mum's abuse, then adopted by a massage therapist that worked in the sanatorium she was sent to. When she was 4 1/2yrs old, it was recommended that she have singing lessons to help her improve her poor speech, vocal skills & stuttering etc. Also u need to check out these artists too: Dimash 'SOS', Morisette 'Never Enough' or 'Akin Ka NaLang' & also Marcelito Pomoy with 'The Prayer'...Another 3 unbelievable artists that words just cannot describe!!!

This song is supposed to be ridiculous. Glad you picked up on the humor here. Most of their songwriting is more straight ahead traditional country music but they weren't getting radio airplay so they decided to go over the top and outlandish. Hence "Save a horse, Ride a Cowboy" .

So this isn't country, but I think you would enjoy it. Every year, 600 of the best high school singers gather in Louisville, Kentucky to perform at the convention center. But they have a tradition that they do in the 18-story Hyatt Hotel that is the most amazing thing. These 600 young people gather on the balconies surrounding the atrium at 11:00 PM and sing the National Anthem. They do this on their own, without a leader.
