I'm glad I found your channel. Im going to try your recipe for Sunday dinner. I'm a lover of black pepper as well. Cooking from scratch is how I learned from my Dad and Big Mama. Looks delish. Thanks for making it look so easy and you have a beautiful smile.

Yes Dora. We love fried corn. I use my Bundt pan 2 cut the corn off the cob. My grandmother would gather us under the tree n the backyard. She would move the dining room chairs and put newspaper down n the grass to clean the silks. Thanku 4 that memory.

Yes, indeedy. Snapping fresh green beans form the garden, shucking and silking corn, all while sitting on the back porch steps of my Great Aunt's house. Wonderful memories. Sit down with me sometime and while we are shucking the corn I'll tell you the story of when my 80+ yr. old Great Uncle went out to cut down a Christmas tree for all of us to decorate after Thanksgiving dinner.

You beautiful lady, you had me at corn, you lost me at bacon. Then you had me back at peppers. You look like how I always imagined my mom to look. Since I was a foster child and all.

Thank you for your comment....You can leave out the bacon...use butter or olive oil instead...It will still be delicious. Blessings and Happy Holidays!

Love your top and I can almost smell that corn; yum! I made it but doubled the bacon and butter, and used heavy cream for the milk, lol. Yeah, I am a fatty, but I am a happy fatty!! ;)

I know that's good. We cook something similar down here in Sout Louisiana and call it maque choux. Look up Zea's roasted corn grits and give it a try. You can sub evaporated milk for the cream Give that a whirl.
