No such thing as solar power banks if you have no solar panels. You have a battery bank that is recharged by generator, your truck, shore power or solar panels. You will need an inverter too, for your 120vac plugs and for your microwave, hairdryer etc. I suggest eventually getting a Victron hybrid 2000w inverter/charger/transfer switch and using 400ah to 600ah of LiFEPO4 Lithium batteries. Put 500w of solar on the roof and Bob’s your Uncle! You’ll have plenty of power for boondocking as long as you want. I would get a 2200 inverter generator as a back up for those 3 or 4 cloudy days to supplement the solar panels, or just get a campground site to charge batteries, do laundry and have a long hot shower.

The banana peppers are my favorite I get them all the time here in NC. Food Lion store's, Ingles, and Wal-Mart stores so come to Morganton NC and your banana peppers. Coming home from work and sitting and watching you lovely 🌹 helps me relax after pulling 12 hrs cooking for residents

You gestured at 10:08, talking about carbon monoxide detectors, like you installed it on the ceiling or high up. Carbon Monoxide detectors should be mounted near the floor, since the gas is heavy, it sinks. Unlike smoke that rises. Hope you installed near the floor. Just sayin’

My husband keeps reptiles... We went to a "reptile show" to buy frozen food for them. We added dry ice, for the multi state drive home. He thought he was out of breath because of the running around he had been doing. I thought I was having a heart attack, because I couldn't breathe. Yup, you guessed it, the dry ice was giving off carbon dioxide, in the car!! We had to ride home with the one of the only two windows down ...in the cold, with on and off rain. 😁 Yeah, it freaked us out a little.

You should visit sometime! It actually wasn’t lavender season when we visited. In October is when it’s in full bloom. But they sold all kinds of great goods in their little shop, and the lavender smells amazing!

We stayed at that Harvest Host and we loved it too. The gift shop smelled so strong it about blew me away but I really loved it. I got the Chai Chocolate Lavender tea...delish. Keep it going, travel on! I also loved the free eggs-cleanest chicken coups ever.

For non bath days, we spritz ourselves with a hand sprayer that is 50/50 water vinegar and non scent baby wipes work well. When we need to dump tanks, we hit a campground 1 night, do laundry, charge batteries to full, take long hot shower and go out to dinner or we eat a big lunch, and have a tuna fish, chicken salad or crab salad and soup night. Great video!

I don’t understand why you are relegating yourself staying inside I would think. Maybe you get an awning for the outside and create an outside patio space either out the back probably out the back would be the way to do it they put like this rug/tarp for flooring and you open your awning and you put your chair she just expand your space or you probably know more about it than me but I just thought you guys were getting a little restrictive considering I don’t think there’s a lot of Mosquitoes. And it’s also not raining there’s gonna be times where you will be pressed more to be inside, but didn’t seem like this was one of them

We love having an outdoor set up also, and we will when we are stationary for a longer period of time. For these Boondocking situations, we don’t have any need to set up outside for such a short stay. They always have a picnic table, or some outdoor seating for us to enjoy. When I was talking in this video, I was just antsy lol.

hey ladies! You need to install the carbon monoxide detectors down at floor level, or low at least. Not on the ceiling. CO is heavier than regular air, so it gathers at floor level then builds up. By the time it hits the ceiling y'all be in real trouble. So happy to see you enjoying your new life!!!

What did you buy from the lavender farm? We always wonder what harvest host sites have to purchase to meet the purchase requirement. It helps us decide which sites are good to stay at.
