Country Steak With Rice And Cabbage

The good thing about cube steak, besides tasting so good, is it doesn't take long to fix it!!!! I have before put it in the crockpot after browning it, then put a good gravy/sauce over it to slow cook several hours. It turns out so tender you don't need a knife to cut it!! It just falls apart and tastes delicious! Enjoy Linda, it looks like a delicious meal!!! I love fried cabbage too!

I've never had cabbage that way. I like it with butter and a little salt and pepper, but that looks really good. And I love that kind of meat and gravy. The only things I like more are meatloaf and spaghetti lol

I, usually, bread my steak(seasoned), fry it, move to a drip rack, make gravy with pan drippings, more seasonings, fresh mushrooms, boil fresh cut potatoes for mash potatoes, and plate it up with sides, put gravy on top of the steak and the mash potatoes, rolls or biscuits.....

I don't often buy steak as it is so expensive in Canada! I love fried cabbage and onions! Maybe I will make hamburger steak with this meal. Hamburger, I can afford. Sure looks yummy! xo
