My favorite line was when he said he writes for the folks going to work at 5 am, and the folks who are late on their car payment.. I hear him say things like that a lot. Like he may have a quarter of a million dollar car in his driveway but he still thinks about the Mama’s out here struggling to put a gallon of milk in the fridge for the kids. You can’t be more GENUINE than THAT. Period.

This is hard to watch now, a sad feeling. Hearing him talk about his family values and about Patty. Everything about Chase and all the other stuff that took a hard turn. On the other hand, I'm so happy for him now. He has a clean slate and a beautiful family that he can make new values, memories and cherished traditions. So glad he has reconnected with old friends. Definitely happy to see he has a seemingly genuine and loving relationship with Bethany and that they have just welcomed a precious baby girl into the world. I think they will make great parents. By now he has learned the good and bad things that come with family, especially in a position such as his. I think he will learn from all he has endured and overcome. Wish him nothing but the BEST! He really will go down in history. He sure has earned it.

And when he talked about his Mom always believing in him really hit home and helped me today because that’s the mom I’ve always been for mine. If you don’t love this man it’s because of something in yourself you can’t stand cause this man right here’s a real one. Love ya Upcurch, thank you for being you in a world of fakes.

5:32 that’s how a lot of my friends became life long friends. There’s a respect that is given, through the fighting process and ones who can fight, then makeup, sometimes right after, that’s how you do it… you can almost know ahead of time, that you you’re like this person in many ways, but sometimes fists, say more, than words could for some of people. It’s like a language really.

Ryan Upchurch....You are the bomb....The realest!realistic!! I am a 60 year old woman that's roots are in the Ozark hills....You gave me back a reason to hope, and believe in a future . The young people have no clue what common consideration is, much less "Old School" is.... You brought back the meaning with a slap upside the head!!!! It was real and needed...If you ever need a old- school minded woman to talk to that will understand your mindset hit me up. Keep up the musical guidance.... Thanx!!!

I love watching your videos Ryan:) Your down to earth attitude, your morals and values really are so old school....and unfortunately mostly forgotten by most of today's generation. I'm a 47 year old woman in Australia and I'm a recent massive fan of yours. Your music is amazing and I love your independence and your free spirit! Such a positive influence on the world:) Thank you ❤️

This just breaks my heart how Ryan is talkin about his family and how much love you can see in his eyes that he has for his family and to know the whole time they was stabbing him in the back and stealing from him. Then finding out that your mother was paying people to ruin you to ruin everything you've busted your ass to become, stealing everything that the man had and laundering it. My heart breaks for you Ryan, I don't care who it is don't let them walk on you no more , I don't care who it is I would go after them all that had anything to do with all the evil they was doing behind your back. Do you realize that with them not paying your taxes and hiding all these houses that the IRS could have come down and arrested you and you'd be doing prison time right now . I know this is an old documentary but I can't wait to hear the new music coming out, I'm praying for you, can't wait to see what the future holds for you .

I was extremely lucky to meet my favorite country music singer of mine growing up. The great Merle Haggard, got to meet and talk to him when I was in College. Now later in life I some day hope to meet Ryan Upchurch at a concert! The Hag was a great legend and was great to his fans! Ryan has what it takes to be just that kind of legend, and is, just that! It's really cool that he does these documentaries so we can all follow his career. A Country boy doing it his way, independently! What's not to respect!

When I first heard of upchurch it was thru his comedy videos on facebook. He was one of the funniest dudes I’ve ever seen. Then when I heard he was doing music I didn’t think it was gonna be anything special. But when I heard his music I was blown away. From his rap to his country he was incredible. What a multitalented dude he is. One of my all time favorites for sure.
