I love the bird's-eye camera view of the arms turning, the cup-and-pin visual of the hands, and your play-by-play commentary to the slow motion demonstration of the whole dance at the end! Thanks for another great video.

Thank you so much. We’re just trying to figure everything out for video and that’s very helpful!

Another great video with excellent instructions. Been doing this one for a few years but not with all "quick-quick". When I started doing this one, at first I only did it to a slower two-step. Once my partner and I got used to it, only then we started doing this with faster music. Looking forward to your next video!

Thanks again for watching and your positivity! This one is definitely one you should start out with slower music. It’s pretty fast at full speed.

I subscribed a couple of days ago and my wife and I started dancing East coast swing this past February. Just wanted to say I can’t get enough of this channel. You two are so smooth together and the lessons are well planned out and very helpful. Just wanted to say congrats on 10k and thank you.

That's so awesome to hear! Thank you so much for subscribing and your kind words. We're glad that our videos "appear" well planned out hahaha... The truth is that we usually decide 5 minutes before the camera is pointed at us what we're going to teach and then just run with it and sometimes it comes out a little more cohesive than other times LOL

Practiced this one today, and really enjoyed it. Question: After the initial double spin, what in the lead signals to the follower to quick-quick-quick-quick for the following turns instead of continuing to just do normal double turns at the usual quick-quick-slow-slow rhythm?

Glad you enjoyed it! All you have to do as a lead is keep your foot (lead hand) on the gas. Just keep your lead hand rotating. She’s attached to that... so she doesn’t have much choice hahaha

Can u make a video on dancing without transitioning into the promenade??? Bar dancing no one really does that part before doing all the fancy stuff. They just go into the different spins

We use the promenade as a connector step. We wouldn’t just dance a promenade down the floor. Trying to dance Two Step without using the promenade is like playing basketball without dribbling. You don’t score points by dribbling, but it’s a good way to get from one place to another.
