Wonderful project thanks for sharing. you might consider hanging the doors and hatch before you do the fine fill and sand. Even if it requires mounting the body on the chassis , you might avoid mismatches. I don't know how much you care about gaps on a race car but everything is so clean , just a thought. Nice job! I’m building a MK 4 and I’ll be starting my body work when the temps warm up. I’ve heard a lot of people using Rage Gold but not the Summit product. It’s nice to know there options. Thanks for sharing.

I've used Rage Gold as well. I like this Summit product better and it's about half the price. I wouldn't used it for anything more than 1/8" of fill. Which, is really aa far as you should go with anything unsupported.

I can’t believe it factory five delivers the fibreglass shell in such a terrible state surely they could sort out their moulds so things come out a lot better for the customer ⭐️🚘⭐️
