Great build. I love how excited she is about literally everything in the rig. You can tell she's proud of what they've done, and with good reason.

this is so original. ive watched so many videos on vehicles that people have made into a moving home. and this is cool. they took the time and planned it out well. never thought to put it on like a flatbed tow truck. very cool.

I found the dual axle trailer hooked up to the short truck frame an interesting idea. Uses the wasted trailer tounge length and camper over hang effeciently by overlapping them since they are not actually doing any crazy rock climbing in the rig was a great idea. Was thinking the wheelwell space would be a great place for those folding tube type camping chairs. The sand ladder placement as covers and tables was another interesting way to make as many piece into dual purpose as possible. I prefer cassette toilets over composting too! Well thought out rig.

Arlene, I love how much you enjoy your home and the work you put into it. Your cabinet doors look very professional! I also love the timber accent walls in the bedroom, they are so pretty. The entire truck is a fabulous way to travel, especially with the trailer full of fun toys!

I have a 5.9 Cummins inline 6 cylinder it pulls a 32' enclosed trailer 18,000 pounds gross and under pretty easy. I towed once 23,250 pounds on my 3/4 ton truck, 550 torque, single rear wheel and that was pretty tough. The slower you drive the better control and better fuel mileage.

hmm..unless hydraulics of flat bed offers some ability for bed /habitat.. to twist little compared to chassis, traveling off road in much of any terrain is going g to tear up that habitat/trailer in short order. Check out the plethora of builds with captured spring and/or pivoting habitat mounts. Considered similar build with the pivoting-ish suspension on habitat/trailer by keeping leaf springs, and maybe with air bags? and a trailer coupler tucked up front (or rear) and coupled to trailer ball on bed.
