Your family is a hoot. I think it's finally coming to Tina's attention that she will have to get help keeping this huge house clean! Great start and it's a fun adventure to be on as a viewer.

Thanks! We both feel like the house looks a lot bigger than it will actually be.

Congratulations!!!! Your home is beginning "vertical"... rather than a pile or parts being horizontal in piles and tarped....

Great to see walls going up! Now that all your help went home, you and Tina will have your house built in no time. 😂 Seriously though, good job! You and Tina should be proud.

Great job guys, one day you will look back on this time and appreciate all the work that went into your piece of paradise, that you did with your own hands. Well done.

I think it looks bigger in person and on video than it’ll end up being. Only just over 2500 sq feet.

We are trying. It’s hard not to get antsy when you start to see progress but slow and steady wins the race.

Question on the posts you using. Did you make them from 2x6 or buy them? And could one make them in site?
@TriStarHomestead
@TriStarHomestead 8 ай бұрын
We ordered the posts with our building. I suppose you could make them. Wouldn’t be too difficult. They are just laminated 2x6’s so they are nailed and glued together.

Think I would use screws so it would pull together better. @@TriStarHomestead

You could. I was saying these ones are nailed together. They are made in a factory so they probably have machines/weights pushing them together.
