the new intermediate tyres for the FXXK EVO are great for when it is wet but not pouring down massively. was just having fun with a passenger in the car ;) and was aiming for fun rather than laptime

I swear to god after having watched tons of Laferrari videos, this FXXK really looks as if it doesnt accelerate as fast... I know how crazy this sounds and I know this thing is setup for laptimes and it definitely is much faster than a normal laferrari but it really feels slower on the straightline. Maybe it is the aero, I dont know...

Couple of things, wet..., Much more down force so more drag, but most importantly because of that downforce I'm editing a corner at a significantly higher speed than in an road car

@@AlexanderWest Cornering speed/laptime is of course no debate between this and a normal LaFerrari (or any road car like you said), that is why I mentioned specifically straight line speed. And yes, I thought it was the aero playing a big part, thank you for confirming this and taking the time to reply. Appreciate it.

The sense of speed depends a lot on the angle of the camera. A larger shooting angle gives a greater sense of speed. Because the objects on the left and right pass "faster". That's why the sense of speed is low in this video. Because of small angle of camera. (Or it's zoomed. So it turns out the same) Try blocking the left and right parts of the video with your hands. So that only the middle remains visible. The feeling of speed will be further reduced.
