Yes! Time After Time is insanely good! A good one to watch along with it is Priority which has Winter (Aespa) , Taeyeon (Girls Generation), and Max Changmin (TVXQ) .

This 3rd mini album is titled "MY World" so this era seems to showcase more of aespa's vulnerable/human side. Their other title songs lead up to this return to the real world and give more of a cyber/fantasy/fight type of feel related more to their ae/avatar lore. Though the girls do sing songs of various genre since the beginning which makes the B-sides and cover songs fun to listen to. Leading up to the next title track "Spicy" MV on May 8 there will be 2 more track videos released apart from "I'm Unhappy". Hope you can check those out when they drop as well. The girls b-sides, as you have liked so far, are really good too.

From the older tracks, if you like the R&B-tinged sound of I’m Unhappy, I’d definitely recommend Lucid Dream (from their Savage album) and Illusion (from their Girls album). My personal favorite is I’ll Make You Cry, but it is a bit abrasive for a lot of people lol. It’s industrial, aggressive and metallic (although the bridge is a sweet soft section).

I believe the official timeline for their storyline is: 1. SMCU Episode 1: Black Mamba 2. Black Mamba MV 3. SMCU Episode 2: Next Level 4. Next Level MV 5. Savage MV 6. Girls MV 7. SMCU Episode 3: Girls (Don't You Know I'm a Savage) 8. MY World 9. Spicy (presumably) Illusion is a B-side that ties into their lore, but falls somewhere between the Savage and Girls MVs. Their non-storyline MVs are worth checking out as well (Life's too Short, Forever and Dreams Come True, which is a remake of a second generation Kpop song). Unhappy isn't really similar to most of Aespa's other music, but their B-sides are usually pretty different than their title tracks.

aespa is a lore-centric group they don't change their concept but their lore landscape changes which makes their sound change accordingly. You'll most likely not find the same sound during their Season 1 (Black Mamba) but you'll feel the same aespa vibe. MY World this is the beginning of their Season 2 for their lore.

Welcome to MY World is a new beginning and it's slightly different from their previous concept in that it's the Real World and its dangers as opposed to the Virtual World and its dangers (which was the key point of their origin). The "unsettling" feeling is all over their music though.

This is the season 2 of their lore which is why they are going with this new sound, the season 1 which had them defeating the black mamba has music which is more experimental and on the sci fi side which is why their music is extremely unique and not necessarily enjoyed by all (personally i love them so much especially savage!) Their past music might throw you off a bit when you listen to it first especially after these calming and more toned down songs but i promise you that they all aged like fine wine and get better with each listen!
