I saw Slipknot at Download in 2019 and the hardest thing about getting down is trying to jump th fuck up when you are standing in a few inches if mud. 🤣😂 It always rains at Download and most years the mud is horrendous. In 2016 it was rivers of mud, in 2019 it was very thick, deep mud.

I was there when Corey said "we're gonna start the legend right here in Manchester NH", 7/22/01...none of us knew what what was going on so we just did what he was asking, and the legend was born that night. They ended up getting banned from playing that outside park in Manchester. They could be heard over 2 miles away screaming fuck from the park that night....Slipknot headlined, Disturbed, Linkin Park, Mudvayne and Spineshank were supporting bands....there is a video of it on YT

I think something that always confuses non-maggots or new maggots is the number and purpose of each member. The group in this specific recording is the original members that were in the group when they blew up. So since you guys probably don't know, I'll tell you about the guy headbanging that you were confused what he was doing (I stopped there to write this, so if you figure it out later int eh video, guess I'll find out haha). That's Clown (Shawn, the guy that always has a clown mask). The things around him while he was swinging his hair around, were drums. The band has 9 members. A vocalist, 2 guitars, 1 bass (RIP Paul), a drummer (RIP Joey), a DJ, a sampler, and 2 percussionists that do other bang-y noises. He is one of the 2 that make bang-y noises. I assume you've seen other videos for them and not just the official video for this song. In those videos you might have seen him hit a beer keg with a bat. That's not just for the video. That's IN the songs where he does that. Him and the other guy (Chris at the point of this video, the guy with the long nose mask, who's been replaced), add extra drum sounds, as well as all the wacky sounding shit, such as that beer keg. Both of these guys ALSO do backup vocals. During the "SPIT! IT! OUT!" part of the chorus, that you said reminds you of "Walk", that's these guys, not Corey. Corey sings the part AFTER that.
