Actually no. Everyone didn’t really know what they looked like maybe Corey and Jim because of stone sour. Clown maybe as well because he’s done a lot outside of slipknot with other bands but that was about it.

@@nickmartin3920 Aside from who you listed Sid also had a career as a DJ before even joining Slipknot, and by '05 it was easy to find pictures of all of them except for Craig online. The internet was already huge by that point. Social media already existed, Google was already getting big, KZbin started that year, and it was only 2 years before the first iPhone.

One of my favorite Slipknot songs. Won a Grammy for Best Metal Performance, BTW! This is from Vol. 3 which is a much more experimental album and sound compared to the first 2. This was the first album I heard from them when my cousin from Florida visited us brought it with him. Thats when they became one of my favorite bands for the last 20 years. Also the solo part is longer in the album version, one thing I wish they kept in the video, so def check out that.

Vol. 3, the album this is on, was produced by Rick Rubin and has almost no swear words on it. Corey did this intentionally due to critics saying that he could not write any songs without relying on the swearing. This was the first Slipknow album that I really listened to. This and Duality are my two favorite songs. I also suffer from miraines so I can really relate to the Duality theme. Great reaction, as usual!

Been a fan for 25y and seen Slipknot in show 8-9 times already, it's always great fun to see the reaction some people have listening to their stuff for the first time. Still remember the look my dad gave me the first time he heard it in '99 He already thought The Rolling Stones was a bit much, Nirvana sounded strange and RatM was "just noise, this ain't music!", imagine the things he said about em listening to "Eyeless" 😝

Up until this point Corey and Jim (Stone Sour) and Joey (Murderdolls) were the only ones really seen in the mainstream without their masks because of their respective side projects. Since they all wore jumpsuits it was the first time the other members really had any distinguishing marks like tattoos shown publicly as members of the band. And since social media was in it's infancy, this video was really the only place anyone saw anything other than the stage version of the band members. Now just search their names and you'll see endless picture of the members maskless.

yup...remember this video captivating people because it was the first time they seen them ' maskless ' only to then try and figure out who might be who, due to the creative shooting of the video not really showing who was who, and what their faces looked like. lol well played by Slipknot.

I used to be a fan of Slipknot in high school, and this was both the song that got me interested in them, as well as my favorite song of theirs. Over time, I lost interest in Slipknot, but I still enjoy this song. Also, I've been watching your videos for a few months now, and may I just say that you have a beautiful smile? Your whole face really lights up when you smile. I also love your bubbly energy, it's so infectious. I always get hyped up and have even more fun when I'm jamming to a song along with you. 🤘😄

My former band covered this for Halloween 2 years ago and dressed as slipknot we had the stage dark and played Slipknots opening music they come out on stage to. So yeah stage was dark music started playing and we came out on the c dark stage then busted into this song. The Audience went wild, we had a packed house on Halloween in San Antonio!

ah nice to hear and find out you do these reacts in the morning time. to get started in the day... seems great way to get into things! and fired up indeed this video style reminds me quite a lot of fellow band korn... and yeah i agree nice to see those guys found a clever way to not bother with the over constrained masks for this time. yet whilst faithfully retaining that classic slipnot style in spirit. very much so... just it always gets me for how much discomfort those guys put themselves thru with all the masks and all. must be painful after too long and while slipnot isnt much my thing... my friend sarah really loves them. was going to see them live in europe or something this year. but then i hear about the singer (cory?) not doing so well recently. which i really hope he is doing ok as best can be given the circumstances about it. and hope they are alll doing well these days the whole band. the music itself generally tends to be a wee bit extreme for my own tastes but i do actually really like those guys attitudes and the way they goes about it all really cool. and maybe if they explore other musical style (as can often happen). this track itself wasn't too bad either actually. so might end up being another aileen senpai recommended (that i didnt listen to sarah over)... will listen again some more. many thanks again aileen. appreciate it... content consumed! 😋😋😋!!! 🖤🧏 have a nice day now
