Hinata asked the master of the iceworld/upside down not to let Juria go and be destroyed. Chisa and Juria asks the creature to stop destroying her subjects and let them pass through and climb to the top of the tower of destiny. 'When destiny and galaxies align.'

I love this MV and how cryptic it is! Probably watched it more than a dozen times already picking up observations hahaha. I posted on the XGALX subreddit about my take, sharing my interpretation here! • Creature that exploded into blue smoke - The ones who dared to stand out and make the leap first before XG but didn't make it. They maybe served as inspiration for others to make the leap and risk too. They didn't make it probably cause they did it alone, or went ahead of themselves. • Creature holding the sphere - The ones who care for, or are protective of XG. Who are careful of them getting hurt from taking the risk. I think it makes sense with the interaction with Juria and Hinata being protective, and with Chisa and Juria as they seem to gesture like asking permission or comforting it. • The background creatures - they are ordinary people or performers of the average type. Not necessarily bad, but they don't stand out and just go with the majority crowd. The visual metaphor is that they are blown away by the explosiveness and talents of XG. And once they witness XG they can't help but be caught in awe and at the end bow down and recognize that they are great and are the ones who can make the leap to the top Overall, they are 3 examples of what XG was able to distinguish themselves from and overcome to reach the top of the other side: they are unique and explosive, they know how to take risks but do it together, they are willing to let go of their comfort zones. I think it makes sense and is really appropriate for the values of XG!

@@mikaneko1 Yes!! I love that idea. That definitely came to mind as well, knowing Simon's background, and also seeing how the girls in the MV reacted. Like they were slightly shocked but also seems like they got an idea or they were kind of empowered maybe. It also gives me a feeling of, this 'alien' showed them that you can try to jump get to the other side. But he wasn't prepared enough, or didn't have enough support to make it to the other side. That first one failed, so that eventually XG could succeed. And that can definitely be said to Simon and XG's real life history as well.

I’m going to give a quick rundown of the story behind the music video for anyone interested: - The XG girls are lowered individually into Buddhist Hell by the thread of a spider (the scene with Chisa represents this). The figures you see in the very beginning are wearing traditional Buddhist headdresses. They are surrounded by spirits who are caught in a cycle of reincarnation that never ends. (In Buddhism the “spider’s thread” is a reference to how Buddha took the thread of a spider in Heaven and lowered it down to Hell so that a criminal can climb up from Hell to Paradise. Therefore the thread of a spider is a symbol of slight hope aka a silver lining and of fragility. In the story it’s stated that the thread descended through “many layers of sky and clouds.”) - The XG girls look on sadly as many spirits attempt to reach Paradise and fail, exploding into nothingness (Maya looking down from her perch represents this.) - Even though the XG girls are hailed as goddesses by the other spirits (represented by the way the other spirits bow to them) they realize they still can’t reach Paradise alone aka achieve enlightenment. - This changes when the XG girls find each other in death, realizing that their meeting was fate in order for them to reach Paradise together (they are tied together by the “red string of fate” and “hesonoo” is Japanese for umbilical chord.) This is represented four times in the video and twice in the chorus of the song; When Juria is running to help a spirit and meets Hinata there’s a close up of her eye where we see her having a vision of an explosion, when Harvey (who has black teeth which in Japan is a common practice amongst women because it represents a “woman with virtues”) meets Jurin, when the XG girls rap/dance together as a group with the drums, and when a wayward spirit’s failure to achieve enlightenment causes an explosion which knocks everyone down leaving only XG standing strong. There’s also a ton of fourth wall breaks showing that they’ve broken away from the circle the spirits are stuck walking in. They know the Truth aka achieved enlightenment and know you’re watching basically. Also, it is only in the later two choruses the girls adlib together. The first chorus, when they haven’t met in the video yet, has none. - Before XG goes, they bless one of the spirits who is heavily implied to be pregnant with the XG girls as seen in the teaser for Hesono-o (the moon is associated with womanhood, XG fans are ALPHAZ aka wolves, the cover art for their album is reminiscent of cell division, etc) who have earned the right to be reincarnated. - The XG girls take a literal leap of faith together and successfully reach Paradise! The music video is tied to XG’s themes of female empowerment-women have two “x” chromosomes, the girls are “extraordinary,” they have the “x-factor,” are portrayed in the MV for GVRL GVNG as mutants like the X(Wo)men, they represent a better future for women in a patriarchal society and stand for the next generation of children (children birthed by women who have “new DNA”) hence the futurism stuff. I hope this helps anyone!

They're reslly living up to their name Extraordinary Girls by releasing more experimental and unique material than your ordinary kpop group. Every song of theirs has a different sound, but the alien concept is well adapted to each video and present in everything they put out off of this mini album era. Also the fact that they released so many of the songs as singles with an MV is quite unique in the Kpop scene, maybe it's more usual in Japan(?)

So like, this music video goes along with all the other ones but I think they arrived on Earth in like an upside down stranger things type of thing and only the people who are accepted get to cross to the other side. 1 that is why that guy who jumped exploded plus everyone was watching him too see if he would make it and 2 they were making a prayer to that "god" person before they jumped and 3 Cocona was up in the air and then they showed her landing and then they were running up to the pinnacle. So now they are on top on the other side... my biggest question I have though, is Maya had icy crystal eyes prior to jumping in the abyss thing and then when they are dancing at the end she has 1 red eye... I wonder if that means anything for their upcoming songs and music videos?? Like are they gonna slowly turn into something demonic or idk idk this is just so amazing. My favorite XG MV so far...
