"Uh Oh" and "Senorita" probably didn't get the love they deserved in 2019, but are the two songs that really show off Idle's versatility. Love your reactions to Miyeon. A lot of people tend to think that Miyeon doesn't fit some of Idle's concepts because she's so elegant, but she DOES shine in all their MV's in her very own unique way. It's always fun seeing how the different members charms show itself with each comeback. But yeah... For me, every time I watch "Uh Oh," the Soyeon/Soojin part after the rap always makes me sad that we never got to have those two as a subunit.

2019 title tracks were definitely overshadowed by Lion (which is also a masterpiece) but all of their songs have such high replay value to me. Like Senorita is SOO good when I replay it nowadays… except maybe the yoofoofoo

Soyeon wrote this song about the people who didn’t believe in her and bullied her when she was younger. People who told her she was too ugly to be an idol and would never write a hit. It was basically a “fuck you” to her haters now she was a success. And quite right too. 🎉

some info: -UH-OH is their 2nd single release, after the 2nd album. It is basically their diss song to their haters and fake fans who didn't believed in them. -The "Uh-Oh" was actually from one of their staff during a shoot who always says "uh-oh~~~" just like the ending. They liked it so much that Soyeon used it for a song. -Minnie's bridge part was specifically added just for her by Soyeon. She explained that since this song is hip-hop, Minnie's dreamy vocals may be the opposite and not heard, so she added the bridge for the iconic sound. -It was so hot, windy, and dusty during the motorbike scene, and you can see Miyeon having hard times opening her eyes. -The mic was indeed on fire. Soyeon was scared coz it was so close to her face and can feel the heat, on top that she's on a high platform with no safety wires. She's also wary of the being burned AGAIN (the reason she cut her hair short).

Uh Oh replicates the mid 90s southern California Hispanic fashion and culture while pulling heavily from mid 90s hip hop (West Coast specifically). They really showed that the looks and attitude from back then is still fire today

Thanks for continuing your I-DLE journey! I'd recommend listening to the instrumental versions their songs which are available on YT especially the title tracks. We get to admire Soyeon's producing abilities on a different level! In Uh-Oh, the violin(?) in the chorus just sends me to heaven. The entire chorus instrumental gives an epic and grand feeling.

I love Uh-Oh so much!!!! This song never gets old for me. This MV came out in the same year as the SM group WayV's debut. Why do I bring this up? Because at 3:07 what I find interesting is that the brown #88 jersey worn by Soojin looks to be very similar to the #88 jersey that Lucas from WayV wore in the WayV pre-debut freestyle dancing MV featuring Lucas vibing to Post Malone's "Wow". The red motocross jersey that Yuqi is wearing also looks to be the same as what Lucas wore in the WayV MV "Take Off". Yuqi was friends with Lucas, so I wonder if this is an easter egg for Lucas fans?
