Couple Scrambles for Safety as Pit Bulls Swarm Around Them

Sara Cooke and Ryan Lesher scrambled for safety as a dozen pitbulls swarmed around them on their patio. The Indiana couple planned to hold their wedding on the same patio but now they say they are too scared. Court papers obtained by Inside Edition show the dogs' owner had been cited four times since June for having an animal at large. After the latest attacks, the dogs were finally removed by animal control.

@@wolflexz I had the same mindset for years because my best friend had the sweetest pitbull. But my sister was walking her new puppy and two pits attacked them. She went to the ER and had to get rabies shots. Her poor dog, Knox, is now 10 and is still terrified of other dogs. A pit attacked a little girl in my neighborhood too. We’ve had nothing like that happen with other breeds here. I love dogs but it’s not worth the danger to other humans & pets.

I am a hater of pitbulls. Stupid relative had pitbulls that she didnt care to secure properly. They would often get out of their cage. 2 of my cats were killed on separate occasions. One 7 year old, and one a few months old. I witnessed the attack on my second cat, that left me horrified and traumatised, like it just happened yesterday. The incident was in 2011, which is 14 years ago, still haunts me to this day as a 30 year old.

As someone who works for a cleaning service, we enter peoples homes to work. Several times these pitbulls plus other breeds have gotten out of the areas they were in while we worked. One time a pitbull came charging at me after he managed to get inside again, i threw my equipment down and got in the closest bathroom while yelling for the owners. Another incident happened three months ago. We were warned the dogs would bite. Well several days after working the dogs were just loose. I had a broom in my hand in case they attacked. The owners were watching it on the doorbell camera laughing! I was shocked
