I read that during the filming of first "Ace Ventura", the shooting had to be frequently stopped, because cameraman would be unable to hold it steady from laughter because of Carrey's improvs. Like the scene in asylum, where he goes ham while wearing the tutu.

Nothing tops Jim Carrey during his prime. He made so many films so authentic and real because that's who he is and that always came first for him than just being an actor on screen doing their job.
