I read that during the filming of first "Ace Ventura", the shooting had to be frequently stopped, because cameraman would be unable to hold it steady from laughter because of Carrey's improvs. Like the scene in asylum, where he goes ham while wearing the tutu.

I think BF aged well. I didn’t like it as much then, but now I like the lighter and sillier tone when compared to more recent Batman movies, which are so dark and depressing. But BF still had that crazy giant bat sequence in Bruce’s mind, so it had dark stuff too.

I just love Jim Carrey. He was the best comedic actor ever. I also saw 2 serious movies of his and he was amazing in them. I know this funny , indelible actor is a caricature of Jim, but he created it and it was brilliant. Now he's retired, I admire him even more for just wanting to be himself. You want to know what torture is like? Try working at a ten screen theater and The Grinch is playing, Harry Potter and the sorcerers stone, the fast and the furious. Ten times a day, and 3 schools come in with 300 children all at once, as a former usher/ arcade master. That was torture. Its been twenty years and i still wake up in a cold sweat singing the Grinch Christmas songs and trying to sweep up a buttload of popcorn. Its annoying as fuck!

If an extra or an actor with a few lines flips out on a renowned star, they're probably going to replace the low tier actor and keep the star, cause the star is the one who gets the audience showing up.
