I read that during the filming of first "Ace Ventura", the shooting had to be frequently stopped, because cameraman would be unable to hold it steady from laughter because of Carrey's improvs. Like the scene in asylum, where he goes ham while wearing the tutu.

@@Hofinator1000unlikely, seeing how worse things have happened on movie sets and no one was fired. Plus the fact that if an actor known for being comedic and going off script did exactly that it's reasonable to assume people would laugh, including the people filming. Nothing tops Jim Carrey during his prime. He made so many films so authentic and real because that's who he is and that always came first for him than just being an actor on screen doing their job. Why wonder he felt so mentally exhausted over the years because every character he played was a personal project for him, it was more than just a job after a job for him, he gave his full heart and soul to each one.

A lot of comedy gold came from a comic genius that is Jim Carey. And the man i love uses his "Alrighty then " catch phrase

Test audience members making it to butt talking and THEN walking out is wild. In the second movie my mom walked out in the first minute when Ace feeds the baby birds while mountain climbing 😂

Jim Carrey is one of the best actors of all time! He's passionate about his work and it shows. To say the least, I loved watching him and Robin Williams growing up. (Millennial Here) lol ❤

I saw a group inTerView with Jim and sacha baron cohen. Sacha is a hero. He very humbly stated he was not worthy in Jim’s presence.

I just love Jim Carrey. He was the best comedic actor ever. I also saw 2 serious movies of his and he was amazing in them. I know this funny , indelible actor is a caricature of Jim, but he created it and it was brilliant. Now he's retired, I admire him even more for just wanting to be himself. He's a wonderful man, who is still much loved. ❤️
